Hello to you all from the Emerald Isle! This is the first book forum that i've joined so i'm hoping to get some good recs and maybe i can make a few recs of my own. Reading is the one hobby of mine that i've consistently kept up for about the last 20 yrs( i aint no spring chicken:blush:) and i have quite varied tastes when it comes to books. My all time favourite is Stalingrad by Anthony Beevor, a truly vivid, haunting, sad, heroic account of the fabled WW2 battle.
Genre wise i have built up a fair collection of the following:
20th century history, current affairs, true crime, crime fiction, sporting biography/autobiography, travel books.
That's all for now, got some reading to do........
