ned
I think it was that he was in a pretty average Spurs team and so looked special. When he came to United he was in a team full of players at the same level as him or better and so he just looks ordinary. I think if he was still at Spurs now he would have trouble getting into that team, Harry Redknapp has worked wonders there. I think he may be on the way out, United need to buy and to do that they are probably going to have to sell, i think he is going to be pretty high up on the list even though Fergie will hate admitting his mistake in buying him and is going to have to take a pretty big loss on him. Rawr
With Rooney and the way we are set up for him, it just doesn't work. But that's no excuse, I mean okay the price doesn't help but that's what we were willing to pay for him, he should take it onboard as a compliment. Rooney worked for the team when Ronaldo was flying, there's no reason Berba shouldn't. I would take around
ned
There is a rumour that they are going to go for Benzema. That'd be a pretty silly move IMO, he hasn't done nothing at Real Madrid, he's just been a big flop. They seem to just want to bring in a name for the sake of it, to maybe try and appease fans about never replacing Ronaldo.
Inver
Wow...12 goals.....Motherwell v Hibs.....Motherwell were down 2-6 and came back to draw 6-6...was unbelievable! Was almost like a school footie game result.

ned
Well at least the Premiership will give us a winner this weekend. I'm crossing everything that i have that Wigan can get a result at Chelsea, a long shot i know but stranger things have happened this season. I'm sorry to see the end of the season for 2 reasons. 1. Because it has been one of the most thrilling in years and 2. because we will have to start to listen/read/watch about how England are "going to win the world cup, it's our year" blah blah blah. Stephanie2008
Great...I don't mind the World Cup but the coverage gets a bit excessive. And I hate cricket. That's my main reason why I don't like it when the football season finishes (although I was glad for Newcastle's sake last year!)

You are relying on Wigan and Roberto Martinez? I hope Wigan get stuffed, another 9 goal game like it was at Spurs. There is no chance of them getting anything at Chelsea. I'm totally with you on the media bleating on about England winning the World Cup, I love talksport but when they start its unbearable. When does the World Cup start? I cant see England getting past the Quarters, and they will do well to get that far. Teams like Spain and Argentina will rip them to shreds. Stephanie2008
The media thinks England has some kind of super-squad. I want Chelsea to win I might be the only one but I'll be hoping for Chelsea to thrash Wigan!

He is after scalping our team again in the Summer, he's after our Captain now.

Stephanie2008
I was looking at the championship table again today (just because it'll be a long time until NU are in the top half again ) and I didn't realise that Swans had a really good defence rate (I think the best in the championship) but scored the least amount of goals in the championship, less that Peterborough, Plymouth, Sheff Wed etc. So surely they need to do something about strikers and they'll be a top team. Sousa was a defender so he's coached them all in a defensive style, none of the strikers could score regularly if their lives depended on it. Trundle has the will and determination bless him, just not the skill or stamina If they had put Trundle on earlier last weekend I think we would have won. Kuqi is our most expensive player, a striker, and he's feckin useless

Stephanie2008
No, I wouldn't want to wish that on the championship again, have to give some of the other teams a chance To be honest, I won't be as bothered if Newcastle end up in championship next season. This year I was devestated, but I don't want a repeat of the season we had last year. I would rather be in the championship and win a couple (OK the majority ) than have the season we had 2008/2009. Stephanie2008
Next season I'll be on here every week crying because we lost to West Ham or Sunderland or Stoke before we even get to Man U or Chelsea.

Johnny Carson Whit
Make Millwall and Chelsea look like a tea party? ned
Looks like you got your wish Johnny That Championship play off game was exciting, i actually can't wait to see the second leg on Wednesday. Leicester should have had at least 1 pen (but i'm not going to admit that cos my dad is a Leicester fan ) Magnificent goal though As much as it hurts me i have to say a big congrats to Chelsea on the title win.
