Echo Posted December 10, 2009 Posted December 10, 2009 That's really cool, Rawr. Did you use a film grain filter? Quote
AbielleRose Posted December 10, 2009 Posted December 10, 2009 I really like that Rawr. Great shot Quote
muggle not Posted December 10, 2009 Posted December 10, 2009 (edited) note: I did not take these photos. Who said that Bambi & Thumper aren't real Edited December 10, 2009 by muggle not Quote
Rawr Posted December 10, 2009 Posted December 10, 2009 ^ Those are some beautiful shots muggle :D Yes i used the film grain quite a lot on that one. It was bright daylight out but my cam can't take pics in the dark I can't wait until i can afford a proper camera So i wanted to darken it a little. I worked on this one over the bridge down the road too Quote
Nollaig Posted December 10, 2009 Posted December 10, 2009 Muggle those photos are so sweet Rawr I really like that last one you posted Quote

Rawr Posted December 27, 2009 Posted December 27, 2009 Great pics I did a couple more recently. Also, i now have a new cam which has a lot more stuff for me to play around with !! So i can't wait to try that out! This is a kind of strange one of a place in a meadow which i thought could make an interesting shot. Quote
Chrissy Posted December 27, 2009 Posted December 27, 2009 OOOh, this is an interesting shot. I can't quite put into words the emotions this picture generated, I will have to ponder it. Quote
AbielleRose Posted December 27, 2009 Posted December 27, 2009 That's a great shot Rawr, I love the colors. Quote
Rawr Posted December 27, 2009 Posted December 27, 2009 Thanks I'd had it around for a long while and couldn't really do anything with the original shot as it didn't really have much to say or convey so i liked how strange it turned out, even though it is a little too hectic imo Quote
Chrissy Posted December 27, 2009 Posted December 27, 2009 It's strange that you say that Rawr as I felt it was quite a still shot, the movement (if any) a slow motion of tumbling forward. Quote
Rawr Posted December 27, 2009 Posted December 27, 2009 Yes, that is a good description. I was trying to connote a kind of confused, lost emotion in the viewer, as if they were the one suddenly being thrown into this strange place and that sense of disorientation as to where they could be and that placement of the pond just teasingly ahead seems to draw you closer. Also, trying to get across the odd beauty which nature holds in each seemingly 'normal' stretch of land. Quote
AbielleRose Posted January 20, 2010 Posted January 20, 2010 We've had really thick fog all week that has been leaving the trees looking like this from sun up to sun down. I think they look so beautiful Quote
