Tonight I got creative and marinated some meat with spices, yoghurt, and other things using a recipe from the tv, and served it with rice mixed with mint, onion and carrot, with lettuce and tomato on the side. It was delicious.

I forgot to add that we also had fresh fruit sald with natural yoghurt and honey, then coffee with italian coffee biscuits after.

Tonight will be nice and easy. Sweet and sour sauce with turkey and rice.

Indoor BBQ - as soon as OH lit it the weather suddenly changed from brilliant sunshine to a heavy shower of hailstones meaning that the food had to be brought inside to be eaten. The minute we finished the sun came back out - can you believe it!!!

Does that mean you always have to cook two dinners? Wait till Tadpole comes. He will have to eat what he is given then, otherwise it will be three slightly different dinners once the baby starts eating proper food.:lol:

We had mince and mash tonight. Plenty of mince left too, so same tomorrow, and there is some uncooked still which will do a chilli on Sunday.

We're having bangers and mash with onion gravy. Got some lovely lamb and mint sausages from the butcher yesterday and I've been looking forward to it since.

Mmmm... sounds gorgeous!

My current favourite food (other than chocolate) is mushrooms on toasted bloomer, and that's what I'm eating now (apologies if I spit crumbs at you).
