What's the weather like?

It's lovely and sunny today, so I've just planted the first of my spring bulbs, hope the squirrels won't dig them up!

Yesterday developed into heavy showers, but today was lovely and sunny, so I planted some more bulbs.

 

It's definitely getting colder at night though, think I will need to get my blanket and/or winter duvet out soon!

We've had some horrendous downpours this weekend, driving has been quite treacherous; then it's nice and sunny for a while, and next thing it's pouring again!

It's quite cloudy and I'm very grateful - the sun came out briefly earlier and turned my office into a furnace. In late October!!

It's one of those beautiful sunny but crisp autumn days today with just a gentle breeze. Perfect for walking and just about warm enough for sitting out in - assuming you can find somewhere quiet enough.

Woke up to the cold. I've been bundled in long johns, sweat pants and a robe. We haven't turned the heat on yet but we did plug in the two electric heaters. Its been sunny outside not that I've been out. Seems the pain pills I took last night didn't want to leave my system today so I slept for about 3 hours and I'm still tired. Perfect sleeping weather except for the fact that I need to be studying for my lab exam tomorrow.

Lovely and sunny over the weekend too, although the wind was a bit chilly at times.  Managed to get some more bulbs in though.

Cold and raining, but not proper rain, just that fine drizzle that gets you wet without it feeling like it's really raining.

Cool, grey and at times drizzly. Wouldn't go so far as 'cold', though others might.

Cold, dark and very autumnal when I left the house at 7.30 this morning.  When I popped out at lunchtime it was lovely out; bright sunshine, blue skies even a bit of warmth to the sun, could even probably have gone without a jacket.  Left work at 5.00 pm and it was dull  and cloudy with a bitingly cold wind.

Am spending a few days in Suffolk with my parents and the weather has been lovely, reasonably mild so we were able to go to the coast yesterday and plan to go again tomorrow.

Thick fog again this morning, cleared now and quite sunny.

Misty start, sun shiny day, dull evening.

It has been foggy here for the past few days.  Was quite scary driving home last night, in the dark with thick fog swirling around.  Eerie, well it was Halloween.

Bit foggy today but not as bad as it has been, quite cold too.

Temperature has dropped down here again thankfully, though I've still had the office window open all day so far without getting too cold.
