  1. We need to talk about Kevin - I didn't get on with the book so thought I'd try the film, in a word, disturbing!
  2. I haven't updated on here for ages, sadly too much going on in 'real life' and less and less reading being done I did however finally finish The Good Father by Noah Hawley, I enjoyed it but it was a little flat, but to be fair to Mr Hawley it may not have been the best book for me to read at the time.. Now reading Kristin Hannah's new book, Home Front, which has made me blub already... Now that's what I need.. maybe!! Her books are so easy to read I'm a third of the way through already and I only started it yesterday. Hopefully it will be the kick start my mojo needs, now if I only I could create a bit more time then I might be able to update my book blog!
  3. I've immediately put 'Night' on my wish list poppy, it's not that I want to read it, more that I feel I should after your review..

  22. I have a large box in the attic that I keep adding to, there's been a few books I've loved that they haven't cared for, so I've kept them too in the hope my grandchildren will like them more - of course my eldest is only 13 so I've a fair few years to wait - hopefully!!
