Welcome - my parents are always harping on about their Kindle's and are trying to get me to buy one. I love the little tech-books, don't get me wrong, but I'm a huge sucker for pages. PAGES! They are amazing. they smell good and you can touch them - I aint never gonna leave my books behind! hehe. We need more information on this book - I now feel like I have to find it... I love a good mystery to solve, although I warn you now I'm awful at finding stuff, but I do like to try! haha. Welcome!

Just to refresh this thread - anyone excited about the movie?

I know there must be folks on this site who have read and LOVED V.A - anyone excited about the graphic novel? It's due out later this month and I'm looking forward to it! I know. Friends not being on E4 is actually a crime. If there's nothing else on I watch Friends! Still, this could mean we're gonna get some new and amazing shows, like The New Girl and maybe more? They will have so many more slots to fill... if only they would stop showing re-runs of hollyoaks! It burns my brain!!

Have you tried the Dark Hunter series by Sherrilyn Kenyon? They are adult themed (and quite rude! hehe), but they are about witches, vampires, greek gods, all sorts - really good supernaturally fantasy fiction!

hehe - I loved Twilight, but I think it was because it was so cheesy. I have to admit though, I loved the whole tone of it, the colours and the moodiness of it all. The portrayal of the characters is what ruined it for me. Yeah, I heard red riding was a bit poo - one of my friends watched it and said it seemed exactly like twilight and she didn't even know it was the same director, so that's no good...still I'll probably watch it because I LOVE bad movies. I don't know why!

Haha, you no like then? I really loved Thirteen and loved the way Twilight turned out (even though I know a lot of people had a bit of a grump about the final picture), I haven't seen anything else she has done, but she does have a particular style. Sometimes a blessing, sometimes a curse. You never know, she could have a vision and see it through (I'm a wishful thinker!)

Yeah, I have recorded Franklin and Bash - so I'll be giving those a watch soon. Glad channel 4 picked up the new girl, it seems like a channel 4 show... well... E4, but you know what I mean

huh, I haven't heard this - some investigation needs doing me thinks... I would be interested in reading whatever she puts out there - not just because of the success of HP, but because I honestly love the way she writes, with such great care of characters and intricate plot twists and turns, I'm sure a detective book would be amazing!

She's also in a new movie coming out called 'My idiot brother' (at least, I think that's what its called). I inadvertently know quite a bit about her career... not on purpose, I just always seem to stumble upon her stuff!
