  1. And you can colour it in afterwards!
  2. I use it when I'm getting stressed about stuff. Especially stuff I can do nothing about. It's really good for balancing your head, if you know what I mean.
  3. (EW!) ...at the Botanical Gardens on her way to court to cut all the roses down. The police officer raised an eyebrow and said....
  4. When I was in school, our art teacher taught us a trick. You draw blobs on a page and then you draw vertical lines from the top to the bottom of the page. But you have to keep the lines parallel, going around the blobs. It takes a lot of concentration and it is amazingly calming. Your breathing slows, your heart rate drops and you stop worrying about stuff for a while. You become focused in the moment. It's very Zen. And you don't have to spend money on a colouring book.

It's going to be a struggle, I agree.

Oh dear oh dear...... 64/6. I think England have given up. This is embarrassing.
  10. ...that the Jet Stream was too far south and.... (You're welcome!)
  11. Hi Chesil! Beautiful but odd place you're named after.
  12. The Open has been postponed today due to the wind in Scotland. It's moving the balls on the greens apparently.
  13. ...oooh you brute!' PC Plod rubbed his hands together in glee. Finally he had her! But then his face paled as he remembered....
  14. I think I would. I shall have a mooch through that list. Thanks!
  15. I know this is a long shot but.... Back when I was a kid, I read a story about two dragons, one silver and one red, I think. They were brothers and I think one of them died. It was a very sad book cos I remember sobbing. But I can't remember the name or the plot or.... anything else. Anyone remember? I'd be amazed if you did but very very happy!
  16. I just opened a Merlot I haven't tried before. It's from the Zilzi vineyard in Aus and its a 2013. It's very nice for the price!
  17. Flip me there's an Englishman leading! How long has it been?
  18. I haven't had a chance to see today's scores yet. Is Tiger going to make the cut?

Oh don't..... Someone needs to have a stern word with the Lord's groundsmen!
  20. I don't dog-ear either. It makes me cringe to see someone do that. I'm also another one that will use any scrap of paper that comes to hand. And it's quite interesting to use train tickets cos it means when you take the book off your shelf, you can see the date when you last read it!
  21. It's Miranda Shell. I have a small bronze of the Shakespearean character sat on a rock with a large conch shell at her feet. And when I was looking for a unique internet name, she caught my eye...... Although..... sometimes the other version is appropriate!
  22. So it's not just me then? Thank the gods for that! LOL! Nice to meet you Anna! And yes, there are a lot of blue forums on the internet......
  23. There's a very nice Chilean Merlot that I can't remember the name of..... But I tend to be fairly eclectic in my wine drinking. I'll give any Merlot a go if I can afford it.
  24. Yep. I have everything both of them have written as well. Although... I'm getting a bit fed up with Fforde. He writes every book as part of a series and then changes his mind and you don't get the second one! Nursery Crimes, for instance. Brilliant idea, great story........ chopped off in it's prime.
