  1. Yes Faithless does come first. You could skip Triptych and go back to it after reading Skin Privilege but I would recommend you wait and try and read them the order they were released. I was really annoyed. I did stop her in her tracks. She only told me... SPOLIER ALERT!!!! I am hoping she is sending me on the wrong track because I can't see how that is possible... surely. But you never know Yep dead to the world is the forth one. The blurb on the back
  2. Book #16: Eclipse - Stephanie Meyer. Synopsis 'Bella?' Edward's soft voice came from behind me. I turned to see him spring lightly up the porch steps, his hair windblown from running. He pulled me into his arms at once, and kissed me again. His kiss frightened me. There was too much tension, too strong an edge to the way his lips crushed mine - like he was afraid we had only so much time left to us. As Seattle is ravaged by a string of mysterious killings and a malicious vampire continues her quest for revenge, Bella once again finds herself surrounded by danger. In the midst of it all, she is forced to choose between her love for Edward and her friendship with Jacob - knowing that her decision has the potential to ignite the ageless struggle between vampire and werewolf. With her graduation approaching, Bella has one more decision to make: life or death. But which is which? Following the international bestsellers Twilight and New Moon, Eclipse is the much-anticipated third book in Stephenie Meyer's captivating saga of vampire romance. So this is thethird book in the series - Like people did not know . Now I am not sure if this review is going to be very reliable as for the first half of the book my mojo had dissppeared while I was going through some problems. But this morning my mojo came back and I raced through the book. First of all I ld like to say I can't stand Bella, she annoys me. I also can't stand Jacob. Not a good start. But I love Edward. I was utter bored Apart from the love that I have for the characters in Karin Slaughter's novels, I really do feel for Meyer's characters, I especially feel for the Cullins' how each one of their stories has a powerful story. Fantastic. This was not my favourite of the twilight series. I was not holding my breath as much as New Moon, I did not feel as much suspense. But I liked it all the same and can't wait to read what happens now!!!! 8/10
  3. *Claps* I am soooo gald you are liking or should I say loving the books. Indeliable is a good book and took me buy surprise. You will start to read the Will Trent books soon!!! Yay!! As for me I have finished Eclipse I loved the ending. but I spoke to my friend who went into a huuuge rant about the ending of Breaking dawn!!!! URGH So now I know what is going to happen :motz:well the love Triangle bit. Not happy. Ok now I am moving onto Charlaine Harris - Dead to the World.
  4. Thanks Charm! I think you would like The death collectors. It was recommended by Mac actually. I liked the sound of one of the later books but he recommended i started at the beginning. It has a lot of the psychology element in it, esepcially when his brother is brought into the mix. It does have grusome murders, and has the right mix of forensic detail, as I know some people on here are not into real graphic forensic description. I would recommend for people who like the quickness of Patterson (Even though it has far more twists and turns and far more detailing -especially when it comes to the characters) Deaver, and Slaughter
  5. Book #15: The Death Collectors by Jack Kerley Synopsis A terrifying new serial-killer thriller featuring Carson Ryder, hero of the best-selling "The Hundredth Man". Thirty years after his death, Marsden Hexcamp's "Art of the Final Moment" remains as sought after as ever. But this is no ordinary collection. Hexcamp's portfolio was completed with the aid of a devoted band of acolytes - and half a dozen victims, each of whom was slowly tortured to death so that their final agonies could be distilled into art. When tiny scraps of Hexcamp's 'art' begin appearing at murder scenes alongside gruesomely displayed corpses, detective Carson Ryder and his partner Harry Nautilus must go back three decades in search of answers. Meanwhile an auction has been announced and the death collectors are gathering. These wealthy connoisseurs of serial-killer memorabilia will pay millions to acquire Hexcamp's art - unless Carson and Harry can beat them in their quest for the anti-grail. Ok this is book two in the Carson Ryder series. I loved the previous book and was much looking forward to reading this one. It did not let me down and in many respects I prefered this one better. I loved the storyline, I found it original and had read nothing previously like it, it gave a new angle to a genre that is bulging at the seems with books. The two main charactors Ryder and Nautilus are back on top form and play well with each other. There is also a new charactor which gets added to the mix. I will say that some people may find the new character rather annoying. Also there is a character not in the book and I found that rather strange to be honest. I won't go into any more details but I found that the only pert of the book that I was dissapointed in. The plot was quick, fast with loads of twists and turns, back and forths and kept me well and truely hooked. I have the next two ready to read! 9/10
  6. Yes, Natalie. I like her, but I will be honest I am not keen on her dancing. I don't think she is light on her feet. But I hope she does well.
  7. thank you sooo much

I hate bullying in any way shape or form, and I won't tolerate it if my son had done it. I used to be really over weight as a teen and I used to have my head flushed down the toilet etc.

It is hard when my OH is not here. I find it hard not venting to anyone. I have a few friends here but not really with kids who I am partically close too.

thank you for being here. It is one of the reasons i came on here to make friends and to talk to peopl other than my friends and my family

  8. YES!!! Yes we do.

  10. I have seen worse, but sometimes he can dance like a dad at a wedding. I like his perservance, yet at the same time I do find him a little irritating. He always expects higher marks. Also I don't find a connection with him and Flavia. Man that last paragragh really made me sound lie I did not like him at all.
  11. I don't get how he keeps getting voted in. he is not great at dancing. he does not have the greatest of personalities. I just don't get it, nor the British Public
  12. I agree I think it will be Craig's last week on Saturday. There had been a mini 'campaign' to get Craig to Blackpool so I thnk that was part of the reason why he stayed in.
  13. Oh no I hate when that happens. You start staring at all the other books you have to read.
  14. Oooooh this looks fun!!! Ok: Lowpoint - Napalm Death Attention - DropDead Sunday girl - Blondie Anxious - Disfear Hammering the nails - Severed Head of state Deutchland - Fleas and Lice No reason why - Judgement Billie Jean - Michael Jackson down n Mexico - The Coasters Better the devil you know - Kylie Minogue
  15. SNAP!!! I am the same with Eclipse. I just can't seem to hold my concentration. I really want to finish it and move on. That does not bode well.
  16. Since I read this thread a while ago I have noticed her books everywhere! I have far too many books to read at the moment, but I have wrote her name down in my little black book for future reference.
  17. Thanks for accepting!

thank you for all your help on the Thread.

  18. Yeah I am struggling to read it to be honest even though that could be because of the stuff going on in my life at present.
  19. I have no had much time to read it, even though housework and paid work is all done, and I do need to calm down so I might get a couple houurs in now. I am 200 pages in, and it is Ok. I really don't like Jacob, at all. I get bored by the Warewolf part of the book. I have just finished the part where Bella's with the wolves and they talking about their history and where they come from, it took my ages to get through that part, I was really bored, I had no care about the history behind the wolves. Apart from that some funny one liners. It is hard to not read an entire series of they are that good. I was like that with the last 3 of her books, as I took a break from her for a while. Glad this was good. I keepmeaning to read it, I just have so many books to go back to my library first. Recieved and Email saying that some books I reserved at my library are waiting for me. Guilty Pleasures - Laurell.K. Hamilton Witch Wizard - James Patterson In the Blood - Jack Kerley Betten - kelley Armstrong.
  20. I was out so I missed all of the dances but I came into watching Zoe dancing to stay in the competition, which didn't surprise me after her being there before. I was just walking out of the room when I heard Ali's name mentioned!!!!! What the?? How did that happen?!! I have to wait until it goes on OnDemand so I can watch it. Can't wait!
  21. I finished The Death Collectors by Jack Kerley.. WOW!!!! When I am free I will right my review, an awesome book! Started Eclipse by Stephanie Meyer and read a hundred pages last night when I could not sleep.
  22. I used to hate that when I lived in a house with my housemates . I am fortunate now that I know my village postman so if there is a big parcel that does not need signing he will open the porch door and pop it in.
  23. Well I have decided that will be my next read so I am really pleased it sounds that good. Plodding along nicely with The Death Collectors, read about 160 pages and is really good so far.
  24. Decided instead of another Sookie Book I am going to go back to the Crime genre. I am 60 pages into The Death Collectors by Jack Kerley. Really good so far.
