  8. I haven't read anything in ages because I have had a nasty flu
  9. Yes, the first ten minutes are very sad indeed. My boyfriend had tears in his eyes and the only other film I have seen him cry at was The Notebook It is very funny though but not really a kids film I don't think
  10. I wanted to see 9 but it looks kinda sad. I know I sound wimpy but I get really attached to teh characters if they are in grave peril. For example, I cried at the first five minutes of WALL-E Has anyone seen UP?
  11. yup! there is is - yucky! The cosmetic adverts are always hilarious. MAXIFY YOUR LASHES (model wearing false lashes)
  12. I agree. I forced my way through The Other Queen because it seemed rushed. I did read it fo rthe history though and glad that I did. She is certainly back on top form with The White Queen
  13. Go Compare! This is grim but... has anyone else noticed the spit on that guys cup at the beginning? ERGH!
  14. About to start The House on the Strand by Daphne Du Maurier when I get off of here Not reading as much at the moment as I have started an xmas job and quite tired I bought Tipping the Velvet and Fingersmith by Sarah Waters from a charity shop too. I really enjoyed The Night Watch
  15. No, I'm watching it each week on TV. We are only up to episode 5 season 1. As soon as I saw him sitting there at the end of episode four I said 'ooooh oh that must be Eric then... Bill is better...' and my boyfriend did this heheh But come on! There is more than enough for guys to gape at in that show!
  16. ...I'll stick to Bill he is dreeeaaamy! hehe
  17. I am desperate to read this book. Thank you for bringing it to my attention
  18. I finished The Night Watch by Sarah Waters last night which is a shame. I keep thinking about the characters. It really is a fantastic book and I have added her others to my reading list I started reading The Casebook of Victor Frankenstein last night but it isn't really drawing me in yet. Perhaps it is because I know what will happen having read and studied the original. Hmmm... will have to give it another go at lunch time.
  19. Well.... Eric came into it last night....
  20. I think it would be interesting if it went on to Mary's life and all that business with poor Lady Jane Gray. Is that picture you are using from Lost in Translation? I love that film so so much!
  21. Do Andriods Dream is absolutely completely and utterly fantastic! I hope that you enjoy it as much as I did By all means voice your opinions - that's what we are here for
  22. I loved District 9 too. I cried like a baby watching it.
