  1. I think he is in it slightly but not very much as I think it's supposed to be the first main book featuring Kathryn Dance.
  2. Sorry - I've already read it! Another brilliant book!
  3. I've also read those Mitch Albom's books and loved them! I've got 'Tuesday's with Morrie' reseved at my local library so can't wait until that comes in.. My next read is going to be 'The Time Travellers Wife' - I got it a while ago but it's just been on my shelf of books to read for ages! It's just the case of something else to read, then something else, then something else.... Looking forward to reading it though as everybody I've come across seems to love it!
  4. I read this Jane Green book a couple of years ago and really enjoyed it. I've read a couple more of her books over the years and think 'Bookends' is probably my favourite. Has anybody read this particular one?
  5. I didn't know he'd finally finished his latest book (I think it's been in the pipeline since 2006?!) - I'll probably read it though as I liked 'The Da Vinci Code' and 'Angels and Demons'. I thought 'Digitial Fortress' was also quite good but I hated 'Deception Point'. Just dull, dull, dull. It took me about 3 attempts to get into it and by the end I wish I hadn't bothered!
  6. I'm also a fan of Lee Child although I think I started reading them backwards! Someone had left 'The Enemy' behind when I was on holiday so I read it on the plane home just for something to keep me occupied... and was really surprised by how good it was and that I'd never heard of him! I've since read most of his books now (obviously starting with the prequel!) and find them all really good reads. I think 'The Visitor' is the one that I remember most as it had a really good twist at the end that I did not see coming at all!
  7. I have read this and thought it was really good. It was the first of her books that I had read so I've since read more of them and they are all equally as good. I think 'Triptych' is the one that stands out most for me. Lots of twists and turns and a bit of sadness but overall probably the best of her books.
  8. I really like Katie Fforde and Catherine Alliott. Very easy reading and also quite funny!
  9. Hi bethany725 Thanks for the welcome! I think I'm a bit like you regarding the Twilight books - I've read them all but aren't really looking to read any more vampire books to be honest! I'll look out for the discussions about 'The Time Travellers Wife' once I read it, which will hopefully be next! Thanks again.
  10. I'm new to this forum but liked the idea of making a list of books that I want to read in the hope of getting suggestions and hopefully broadening my reading horizons! I can't remember all of the books I have read this year but I've read:- *All the 'Twilight' books - I loved these (although I can imagine they are not to everyone's taste!) *'E' by Matt Beaumont (quite funny, the whole book is based on emails at an advertising company) Countless others that I will update once I can remember! At the moment I am reading 'Divine Justice' by David Baldacci. I'm becomming quite a fan of his books. The ones I have read so far are The Camel Club ones featuring Oliver Stone etc.. really liked these. Next on my list is 'The Time Travellers Wife' which I've had for some time now but just never gotten around to reading. I've heard good things about this so am going to give it a go!
  11. I've read most of his books and can honestly say I've never gotten any of his twists! I think sometimes I've figured it out but I've just been lulled into a false sense of security.. 'The Coffin Dancer' was brilliant and I also really liked 'The Empty Chair'. I've got his new book to read (I think it's called 'The Bodies Left Behind') on my huge pile of books to read so will let you know how I get in. The only thing it it isn't a Lincoln Rhyme book, which are my favourite!!
  12. This is probably my favourite Lincoln Rhyme book overall! A lot better than the film. Sorry to butt in - this is my first ever post!
