  1. 3 more to go, I can't believe I'm almost there.
  2. I didn't do as bad as I thought I would. 44 Freakonomics: by Steven D. Levitt and Stephen J. Dubner 30 The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini 25 The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time by Mark Haddon 17 Harry Potter andthe Deathly Hallows by J. K. Rowling 10 The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown 7 Life of Pi by Yann Martel And quite a few on my TBR list.
  3. I have never in my life re-read a book. I will re-read a book soon though. "The Jungle" by Upton Sinclair, because I don't remember it, I read it in High School and probably skimmed through most of it. Now I want to enjoy it. Outside of that I probably will never re-read another book.
  4. Yes, I do it all the time. I usually finish a book on the train, and still have a ways to go, so I pull the next one out of my bag. I often know when I'll be done and put the next one in there so I'll have it. If I am reading from my kindle it makes life easier, but that is not always the case. I don't seem to need time between books.
  5. Over the past few years I've been trying to put more fiction on my shelves. I have mostly non-fiction books. I borrow more fiction than non-fiction, I tend to buy non-fiction. My weakness is memoirs/autobiographies.
  6. Reading "A Treasury of Christmas Miracles" by Karen Kingsbury, but I read that at home, because it tends to make me cry. Also reading "Skipping Christmas" by Grisham, that book I read on the subway. Listening to "The Thirteenth Tale by Diane Setterfield. Almost done with the first 7 hours, it is narrated pretty well.
  7. Reprints and only because older books have fonts that are difficult to read. I am not concerned with artwork or anything as such, just the story.
  8. I can't believe this year is almost over and I've almost made my goal!!
  9. 10 more to go -- I impress myself!!
  10. The only one I've read was Dante's Inferno. Don't know if he qualifies. I approached it very openly, I'm not sure I 'got it' all but I gave it a go. Don't think I'll be reading anything like that, anytime soon.
  11. To Kill a Mockingbird Well I think it is pretty short and an easy read.
  12. I've been busy huh? 14 more to reach my goal!
  13. I like the Narnia books, only read up to Caspian though, they are collecting dust on my shelves. My daughter read #5 and loved it.
