I completely agree with your post on the debating thread re: depression and how you conduct yourself, my friend. To me, you appear eloquent and you articulate your feelings with skill and compassion. I think good ol' SKM is possibly suffering himself at the moment, thus causing him to write ludicrous things. I'm awaiting my turn in the face of his wrath over my post.
To be sure, you have a friend (albeit virtual) in me. I hope your evening is proceeding very well. xx

Hi guys. I think Carey Mulligan is up for the Lisbeth Salander role, with Daniel Craig possibly up for the Blomkvist role. Carey Mulligan is an excellent actress. She was Sally Sparrow in the Doctor Who episode 'Blink' and went on to do some really good stuff. Check her out on IMDb. David Fincher is apparently directing the film, which isn't a bad choice. A favoured director of mine. Clever chap. Still not seen the Swedish film, but really, really want it. -
I don't actually feel any different to when I was 22. In my heart, at least. I guess my knees are a little ropier. And I can no longer feel the breeze ruffling my hair, but that's through choice! I try and convince myself that I get better looking with age. By the time I'm 568, I'll look like Brad Pitt.

Ah, but many question my male-ness, you know. I don't watch telly (no ariel, no licence), I don't like football, I can't stand "Lads" magazines and I don't like lager.
I do like cooking, reading (obviously), keeping my house clean, real ale, red wine, single malts (Western Isles) and tramping over the hills and mountains.
Not much pukka about me. A bit of a softy at heart, really. Maybe I need to 'Man Up', as they say. Hold on, I'm going to walk across to the local Knuckles Pub and shout that "England is sh*te and all football supporters are gay!" and see where that gets me...

I think they wear specialised footwear as opposed to Wellington boots, but I could be wrong. I'm terribly ill informed about these things...

I'm afraid this isn't really a thread I'll be visiting much - I don't get the football thing. Sorry. I was appalling at the sport (read: all sport) at school. I haven't got a very competitive nature so, when in possession of a ball and someone comes to try to take it off me I was all "Hi. Do you want this? Here you go. Happy days! Enjoy yourself..." much to the dismay of my fellow team mates. And, probably because of the non-competitiveness thing, I don't understand the pub/water-cooler thing of "We played really well last night. Especially when we stuck those two thingies past the do-dah into the whatsit." I get it if it's my friend Lauren talking about how well she and her team have played in a hockey match, but not when it's someone who's seen it on a television. I'm a dunce. A dunce, I tell you! I wish I could join in with it, sometimes...
