LOL, you hate Djokovic do you? I remember when he first came on the scene I absolutely despised him. I'm not sure what I think now. Sometimes I think he has kind of realised that he was just being a dick and has tried to improve his demeanor, and other times I get annoyed with his lack of heart.
  3. Glad to hear you enjoyed it. I have read the first four and have five, six and seven sitting in my TBR pile.

Yeah, a lot of it depends on how tough his matches are at the French. Who do you think poses the biggest threat to him at the French? I was thinking Verdasco but Rafa whooped him last week so I guess not. It is tough to see anyone coming near him there. Kind of scary in a way.

Yeah, Wimbeldon is pretty much what I am hanging out for. The French is done, barring injury, and as good as Rafa is to watch it does take a lot of interest out of the tournament. As far as Wimbeldon, I'm not sure. It all depends how fit he is coming out of the French. He is at an advantage in that he will be no doubt hitting the ball tremendously well, but I think he is going to struggle there. If I had to lean one way or the other I would say he probably won't win Wimbeldon but you can never count him out.

Rafa is just incredible at the moment. He is the best clay courter I have ever seen play the game. His intensity on the court is just amazing to watch.
  7. The internet is full of idiots. Ignoring them is definately the best tactic.
  8. Yeah I have seen the movie. It has been a while but I remember liking it.
  9. LOL, blast from the past! I remember studying it in Grade 10 English and loving that book.
  10. I can't remember exactly. I think I was just browsing the web for book recommendations and then I just stumbled across it.
  11. Glad to hear you enjoyed 'The Secret History' so much. It is on my TBR list.
  12. Yeah, I just didn't feel like there was enough time to really establish a meaningful connection with any of the characters.
  13. Working.
  14. Haha, I know. THe thing is I did both. I was in bet just before 1am the night before then I was up at 4 30 to finish. As I was doing it I was just thinking "this is completely mental". Haha, I'm nuts.
  15. I have ordered that one from Amazon after reading The Tea Rose, along with the sequel - The Winter Rose. I hope you enjoy it. It is right up there with THe Time Traveler's Wife as my favourite book so far this year.
  16. I do that. We all have special talents, mine is spoiling the joy of others. It has taken me several years to properly hone my skills but I think I have pretty much got it down now.
  17. Samuel Morse's birthday. You just have to trace your mouse over it and it tells you.
  18. Good luck with TTTW. I loved it, it was one of my favourite books of the year so far.
  19. I finished 'The Tea Rose' by Jennifer Donnelly this morning. As pathetic as it is I actually forced myself to get up early in order to finish it. I just couldn't face another day without finishing it. I rated that book 10/10. I loved it. Definately one of my top couple of favourites for the year. The story is just so well told. It is almost 700 pages but there is barely a lull in the entire book. The characters and excellent. I was caught up in the story from the first few chapters and it just got better and better. I will definately endeavour to read more Jennifer Donnelly books in the future. Next up for me is a YA book that has been sitting on my pile for a while - 'Blood and Chocolate' by Annette Klause.
  20. I loved it. Not immediately though, it did take me a little bit to get into the swing of it. But once I did there was no going back. Try to perservere with it, you will not regret it!
  21. His nickname is "The Golden Boy" for a reason! The girls have always loved Oscar. I have to admit, he is a pretty good-looking guy.

  22. Haha! It is pretty boring really.

His name is Oscar de la Hoya. He is a Mexican-American boxer. He was one of my childhood idols growing up and he retired recently, so I changed my avatars to pics of him on the internet forums I am a member of just to mark the occasion!

  23. Yeah, things were looking pretty ordinary there for a while.
  24. I agree, I loved this book! Whilst I am looking forward to seeing how they do the film I wasn't really that pleased to see Eric Bana chosen for the lead. Bana is not how I pictured Henry to be at all!

    Your sports

Unfortunately I pretty much don't play any sports anymore. When I was at school I was a good junior tennis player and also played cricket and football. I trained for Boxing without ever actually fighting. Nowadays I am more of a watcher. I run a lot, that is about it.
