  1. Great review - I added this to my wishlist yesterday but think I might actually shift it over to my shoping cart
  2. Top 5 is quite hard to narrow down but here goes! 1. Muse And then in no particular order - Foo Fighters 30 Seconds To Mars Jimmy Eat World Fall Out Boy

    Hi there

Hi Kim, I know you from another forum - great to see you here and hope you enjoy it
  4. Just finished Iron Council by China Mieville and next up is a Jasper Fforde marathon, starting with a re-read of the Thursday Next books Was very naughty and ordered Wuthering Heights and Pride & Prejudice in those gorgeous hardcover editions and also pre-ordered Emma. Oooops
  5. Completely agree, Amelie is in my top 5 best movies ever seen
  6. I wondered if you were who I thought you were - Isle of Wight confirmed it. Not been on UKS for months, are you still on any design teams?
  7. You need to be careful and make sure that anything you use is acid and lignin free, means it'll last a long time and any photos won't be damaged. Don't use regular sellotape, you need to get proper glue or acid free double sided tape and so on. In my art journal though I use anything I fancy as I'm not worried about it lasting, that's purely for me unlike my scrapping which just about everyone I know likes to rifle through
  8. Reading and scrapbooking are what I've always done, ever since I was young. Of course, the version of scrapbooking I did when I was 6 or 7 is nowhere near what it is today but it was probably what got me started properly
  9. Oh most definitely but they're great hobbies to have
  10. I know that feeling - I'm either so caught up scrapping that I don't touch a book or, as I'm doing at the moment, I've not done anything vaguely scrappy for over a month because I've got my head stuck in a book
  11. I haven't, I actually emptied my UKS gallery a couple of days ago because it was all old stuff but I do have an old blog that has a load of cards and ATC's on, not sure if there's a couple of layouts on there too but will check
  12. It is really addictive - I probably have more scrapping stash than I'll ever use in my lifetime but it's like shiny new books, you have to have them It is fun though and I get a kick out of doing it, if I could just learn to not buy any more stash I'd be fine
  13. It's very bad for your bank account too! I've been scrapping for nearly 5 years now and I'm addicted to pretty paper & rubber stamps If you want a different and/or creative way of displaying photos it's fantastic, you don't have to be 'arty' and anyone can do it. UKScrappers is a fantastic resource but they do enable shopping sprees a bit too much! Hmmm, a bit like here.....
  14. Just watched Donnie Darko again
  15. Asparagus risotto
  16. I have that one too, and an Edward one that my sister sent me - I've got the Twilight one in my posh collectors edition of Twilight and the Edward one is stuck in the middle of Eclipse. I also got a gorgeous Amy Brown bookmark this week which has a sweet little fairy charm hangingfrom it
  17. Exactly Plus I have Hunted in hardback already so what's one more?
  18. Well, I pre-ordered it on Amazon US (in hardback) which still says October so I'm keeping my fingers crossed Oh, and it's Tempted not Tamed - d'oh ETA - I'm too impatient to wait for October 2010 for the paperback!
  19. I'm reading Shadow Man by Cody McFadyen and rereading Hunted by P C Cast as Tempted will be out in just under a month
  20. Macaroni cheese here
  21. Welcome to the forum! Hope you enjoy it here
  22. On average I read between 5 and 7 books a week, sometimes more & sometimes less. I only read this amount because I'm basically housebound and have nothing much to do, might as well be productive and read Also, I suffer from chronic insomnia so it's not unusual for me to be reading at 4am!
  23. I've just got some gorgeous magnetic Nightmare Before Christmas bookmarks - just need to track down a Bagpuss one I saw somewhere now
  24. No comment - I bought 9 books today!
