  1. I'm not a big fish person, in fact I rarely ate it before I met my BF, but have been eating a lot more and a bigger variation and it's not bad There are lots of things I haven't and wouldn't eat. Like I would never eat any animal other than cow/pig/chicken/turkey, not because of taste necessarily, but I just don't want to ever try something like dog or horse.
  2. I virtually never look at the end, I did in a recent Kelley Armstrong book because I was sure I had guessed the big plot line, so i very lightly skimmed the end for the confirmation, and that was the only time in i don't know how long! I don't think I could do it with every book, as you'd just know what was going to happen, and that would defy the object of reading the whole book lol
  3. I really want to go to Rome, and New York or Las Vegas
  4. Funny to watch, but I can't imagine your mum was happy!
  5. !! You need too, it's the law!
  6. Me too and i adore seaside fish and chips, can you get any more british than that!?
  7. At the end of the day, just because you take food "seriously" there's absolutely no need to be so rude to someone because they say they like ketchup, some of us as weird as it may seem do eat things others may not like, you just move on if you have nothing nice to say
  8. Well it's no posh wine Roxi snobbery at it's finest
  9. I would definately say to read PS I Love You, before watching the film, i loved the book and hated the film (although i agree about the hunky men!)
  10. I love to read in bed too, especially now it's so cold and the bed is so warm and snuggly!
  11. I love some of his books, and others I'm really not impressed with.
  12. I don't usually when reading as I get distracted with singing along to the songs when I'm chatting on msn, or browsing the forum etc, then I usually have music on
  13. I'm getting through a book about every 2-3 days atm, been very busy though, so may increase a bit!
  14. Yeah me too, I've been curious about the book myself
  15. I wouldn't say there's a great deal of romance in them really, sure there's the relationship aspect, but it's not cheesy I would definitely say males would enjoy this as much as females!
  16. Me too, and it's great to win things!
  17. Yeah it probably does, but I'm not a massive comedy fan, that's more my BF's kinda thing, so that's why we watched it, and if it doesn't hook me in within 30 mins then it's gone!
  18. Yeah I would have liked to see the same. And having seen the film, I would def say it's much better, I really enjoyed it!
  19. Ohh, have fun Nellie!
  20. Marie-Madeline lit the flame under the bowl. Haunted - Kelley Armstrong
  21. I tried searching for a thread as I'm sure there is one, but I just got a message saying I've won The Agency by Ally O'Brien in the Early Reviewer group! It was my first time entering too, so I'm super happy, can you tell!?
  22. Mostly for me it's just escaping into another world for a few hours, reading has always been my escape from life, even as a very young girl, so when I got older I already had something in place that helps me to relax and just get away for a while! Plus I do love reading about so many different things, so it's a win/win situation
  23. Myself and my boyfriend watched about 30 excrutiating minutes of it before we turned it off can you tell we thought it was awful?
  24. Yeah I know what you mean, it was written in a very favourable light towards McCandless, despite saying at the beginning that he'd try to be neural in his writing. I think the trouble is with this kind of book, is that no one really knew him, so they're just guessing at what they presume he must have thought.
  25. Ohh I remember the one that really annoys me, it's for mens hair dye, and there's 2 little girls and one says "you'd be a really good catch", I just don't think a young girl would ever say that to her dad
