  1. I love those wooden ones. I've been looking for a nice bookmark and Gyre just gave me the link to some Twilight bookmarks!!! *Rushes off to beg boyfriend*
  2. Oh . Well that sounds more like my kind of thing. I'll keep an eye out.
  3. Noughts and Crosses - Malorie Blackman. I can't imagine ever wanting to let that series go. I love it. I haven't liked Twilight long enough to know if it will the be the same with them.
  4. Since I've joined this forum, I've seemed to go off chick lit. It's a good thing though. I've got a more open mind now and buy books that I would never have even considered before. Like, I'm reading one (chick lit) at the moment and I can't wait for it to end so I can read something with a bit more depth! I read one by Jill Mansell and wasn't that impressed. It was a bit too predictable. Having said that, chick lit is perfect when you need a light read. Or if you're going on holiday!
  5. Hello. Just saw the 'What's up today' thread. I'm sorry to hear about your auntie. :friends0:I hope you're ok. Love, BookBee (Katie) x

  6. These are on my wishlist. You're all tempting me to spend more money that I don't have! I am looking forward to trying these.
  7. I'm glad there are others like me! Wuthering Heights is on my wishlist and it's been recommended so much that I think I'll start with that one.
  8. Hello :) How are you? Read anything good lately? Love BookBee!

  9. :) I know! I was far too excited when I noticed, hehe.
  10. Mine is to simply get through my TBR pile which never seems to shrink. I did aim to read three classics this year also as I've never read one.
  11. I bet I wouldn't be able to differentiate between any of them! I'm useless, hehe. And I bet you do have an accent, you probably don't realise.
  12. Haha, I think I know what you mean about the gangster accents. I bet that's exactly what I'm thinking of! I've been to Florida quite a few times. Just nowhere else (in America).
  13. That's exactly the same as me. I can tell a southern accent because they're really distinct. And something New York. But other than that I'm lost. *Wants to visit America*
  14. It's all backwards in Florida. You go inside to cool down and outside if you're cold. I love it though. Talking of accents, I'm very bad with them. I probably wouldn't be able to tell the difference between someone from New York and someone from Florida! I know there is a difference but I would struggle.
  15. Ooh, if we could choose a comedian, I'd go for Lee Evans. He's hilarious
  16. . Well, I've only been to the touristy area of Orlando. I'm a huge kid and am in love with Walt Disney World. I'm not sure how you cope with the heat though. Strange really. What, with being on the opposite side of the world!
  17. I love Florida!!
  18. I don't think I could join a library; I wouldn't wanna give the books back. I always buy my books new. It's not because I can afford to do it though, I'm just picky . Online, I like Play. I like Waterstones. I sometimes buy my books from WHSmiths and Tesco's too.
  19. It's true, they do! I love it
  20. People have asked me if I'm Australian before. I've lived in England all my life. So, I'm not sure how that's possible, hehe. Maybe there's a familiar twang?
  21. Malorie Blackman. I would ask for writing tips!
  22. I would go for something that in other situations I would struggle to read or wouldn't read at all. Because I'd be so bored and would want to pass the time, I'd have no choice but to read it. I'm not sure what though.. Let's go for The Lord Of The Rings It would widen my horizons! Maybe.
  23. I'll keep an eye out, I've never heard of this author before. Argh, I'm so bad with those spoiler things. I can't control myself. I just have to read it!
