  1. Hehe, well if it helps...I would choose it over Historical fiction, non fiction and the classics.
  2. Maybe. That's pretty much all chick lit is about.

Hello . HP fan and Psychology student over here!
  4. Hey! Welcome to the forum.
  5. Hoping to go see Seven Pounds at the weekend
  6. Agree with the all the above. I'm not sure I could read that one either, I'd be crying for days! Good review
  7. I picked contemporary fiction and young adult. Main reason for the last one is although I don't tend to read a lot of it, all my favourites are in that genre!
  8. I was going to say that! I hope you like it here!
  9. Yeah, I've read it and I have to agree with you on the most part. It was my least favourite by her, I think. Like you say, the story had potential yet the book didn't have much of an impact and I probably wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
  10. My best friend is male, Irish and cries all the times. Terrible theory! There's quite a few that I've cried at. Including the 3 that I read this year. I don't cry that easily either, I think I'm just picking sad books at the moment!
  11. That's lovely. I would love to have something personal like that!

    Hello :D

    :006:Welcome to BCF!
  13. I tend to pick at random. I'm glad I don't go by oldest first because all the ones I'm really looking forward to, I bought recently!
  14. Pretty good so far
  15. That's on my wishlist. Let me know if it's any good! 'Clare: It's hard being left behind.' The Time Traveler's Wife - Audrey Niffenegger
  16. Is that in the first or the second film? Granted, they're both hilarious! I like watching that too. Anything chick flicky
  17. I'm not sure about books that have made me laugh. But I hate books that try to be funny that aren't. All seems really fake and forced.
  18. Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone. I think it's known as the Sorcerer's Stone in the US?
  19. What did you think to this one?
  20. I think you might have a point!
  21. Hehe, that's ok! My BF laughed at me too.
  22. Haha, the posh, polite phone voice. We all have those.
  23. Ceinwenn, I feel your pain! I know how that feels. I have no will power though, I just give in and eat it anyway! I had turkey drummers and smiley's for dinner. I know, I'm a child and I am a terrible cook. I burned them as well.
  24. You definitely have been lucky. . I'm not working either; I spend 10 hours a week at Uni and the rest I have off! I get distracted by this website
  25. Gyre, you read so fast! I feel like a snail in comparison. And you've either been reading a lot of amazing books or you're very generous with your ratings. I think I might add a few of these to my wishlist!
