My OH taped over the most of the (50 minutes of it!) first episode and mucked about with the video recorder and lost the recording details for the 2nd episode! Boy, is he lucky I love him! I'll have to watch out for repeats.

I had made a Flemish Stew yesterday to eat tonight, but I decided to freeze it instead! So tonight we're having a very complicated and multi faceted meal of sausages, chips and beans! Yes, I know, it's not often such special dishes are mentioned here, but please remember that with that little bit of extra effort you can make such a special meal too!

I'm admitting nothing! I do agree that the X factor is now a generator rather than a spotlight on talent. The choices are far too narrow to really appreciate the actual talent of the singers. It's all very blah!

42 in August - I am loving my forties!

Snug in the corner of my sofa, with a cat on my lap, and the dog snoozing by my side. Preferably I'll be well fed and watered, and in no current need of the loo. The lighting should be comfortable for reading without being harsh, and no-one should have any need to disturb me......Ahhhhhhhh perfect!

I haven't seen or had potato smilies for years! Yuuuhumm! I'll be making a giant lasagne later, to be had with salad. I'll also be making a Flemish Stew to have tomorrow - it always tastes better the next day!
