  1. Thanks for that Brainfreeze i have read the first four Tom Thorne books now and i am loving them i will check out Chris Mooney too. The Darkest Evening Of The Year was the first Dean Koontz book i had read in a while and i was quite dissapointed with the first 100 pages or so but it really picked up towards the end an i am glad i perservered. a 7 out of ten.
  2. Just ordered Shang Hi delight from the chinese, it is stir fried mixed meat king prawns and special mixed vegetables in a chilli sauce its coming at 8 o'clock mmmmmmmmm
  3. Weapon Of Choice by Fatboy slim, with Christopher Walken dancing in the hotel i love that one
  4. Funnily enough i thought the same about the fish and chips but i thought they were awful.
  5. I am using one now that i got from the local forest shop, it tells you what your birth tree is, i didnt even know i had one lol.
  6. They are Fish and chips, builders breakfast, crispy duck and hoisin sauce, chilli and chocolate, onion bhaji and cajun squirrell. The idea is that you try them and vote for your favourite they will then ditch the other five and make the winner a permanent thing

  8. Has anyone tried the new Walkers crisps flavours yet? i have tried four of the six and must say not one i can say i have really enjoyed.

  12. The Stand by Stephen King was mine too just over 1400 pages. i also read It by Stephen King too.

I think when you are a kid they do fool you but now as you watch them back they do look bad, at the time though it was the top technology dont forget its been much less than a hundred years since films were even invented and the first "talkie" The Jazz Singer wasn't released until 1927 which wasnt that long ago in the grand scheme of things.

  15. I have tried to read 4 James Patterson books and have not got into any of them.
  16. I really really enjoyed Damged Goods i really reccomend June Hampson. I stumblded on her first book in Hay-On-Wye in the pound shop she has 3 books out now in a series set in Gosport in the 60's based around the life of a woman called Daisy Lane. I really cant wait for the next installment.
  17. I was purely a horror reader for years like most things now i have mellowed and prefer a good crime or thriller.
  18. I didnt see it either but it just shows what passes for "entertainment" on TV today.
  19. I suppose it would be nice if you had a book called How To Get Out Of A Lift.

Step one, Grab menu, Step two, Decide what you fancy, Step three, pick up phone and dial. that was the recipie i always used to use now i am pretty good in the kitchen even if i do say so myself, my speciallity is curry its quite famous now with family and friends. i found a lot of good easy recipies on the BBC website.
