I bought two books for myself, The Five People you meet in Heaven ~ Mitch Albom and Breakneck ~ Erica Spindler.
Then I chose three books for my young grand-daughter (she`s 30 months) and she loves books, infact she refuses to take a teddy to bed she chooses 4 books to take instead!
I really want to read this book but after reading Shins comment and having recently lost my Dad was wondering whether I should, just yet, then I read your comment Inver and now I`m thinking maybe I should read it now anyway.
I hadn`t seen this before, but glad it`s been resurrected now. I`ve got First Casualty on my TBR pile, I think I`ll move it upto the top after reading the review and comments here.
I think I`m going to have to pick up The Five People You Meet in Heaven after reading that review, it sounds so good
I hope you feel rested and well after your trip Mac.
Home made vegetable soup with home made bread ( the bread machine did all the work though!) both were very delicious, must make the effort to do them more often.
I finished So Many Ways to Begin - Jon Mcgregor, I really enjoyed it
Now I`ve started a library book, Reading Lolita in Tehran - Azar Nafasi, I read someones review on here and liked the sound of it, I think I`m going to enjoy it.
