  1. I lost my Dad in January and remember finding the messages a help, it reminded me that people are there and do care I think. I`m always around if you need anything, take care. xx

  2. I`m so sorry to hear the sad news Janet, I`ll be thinking of you. x

  3. When I was on holiday a couple of years ago I had a Monte Christo sandwich, a triple decker filled with, turkey, ham and cheese then dipped in the egg mixture and fried. It was delicious but would have fed a family of four for a week!
  4. I seem to recall reading that to treat a red wine stain you should use white wine, soak it then rinse I think. Hope you sort it.
  5. I`m eating the minty aero that fell into my shopping basket this afternoon.
  6. This sunny weather has a lot to answer for! ;) I like the wine therapy though  Take it easy don`t want you laid up again. :friends0:

  8. I`m pretty good thanks, :) I`m enjoying my easter holiday and as the weather`s been so gorgeous I`ve been tackling my rather neglected garden, hard work but strangely satisfying - although my back is screaming out for mercy!

  9. I read a bit more of Broken Skin - Stuart Macbride, it looks as though it`s going to be another good read.
  10. Hello Charm, sorry to hear you`ve been unwell but hope you`re feeling better very soon. :friends0:

  11. I finished Breakneck - Erica Spindler it was brilliant. I`ve now started Broken skin - Stuart Macbride
  12. Books I`ve read recently, Third Degree - Greg Iles This didn`t grip me as much as other books by Greg Iles, but it was pretty good all the same. 7/10 For One More Day - Mitch Albom I really like Mitch Albom`s writing style. This book reminded me of The Five people You Meet in heaven, and maybe I shouldn`t have read it so soon after reading that one. However I still enjoyed this book though and I look forward to reading more books by him. 8/10 The Secret Scripture - Sebastian Barry Set in Ireland this tells the story of Roseanne who is nearly 100 years old and has spent many of those years in a mental hospital. Psychiatrist Dr Grene tries to find out why she was committed all those years ago. A very good story and one I stumbled upon by accident but I`m very glad I did, I`ll be looking for more books by Sebastian Barry. 9/10
