  1. Hey CW :D Thanks for letting me know about Genisis .. I just read your review and it sounds great! I have Triptych on my shelf TBR so I think I may take your advice and read it before hand but I may take you up on your offer of a description of Fractured, depending on how I feel about Triptych ;)

It's nice to hear Ms Slaughter is back on form!

Hope you are well and are having a good week so far

    Hi Larry back!
  4. To call Portia Cane a waste of space was being charitable. Living With The Dead ~ Kelley Armstrong
  5. I finished No Humans Involved by Kelley Armstrong and loved it, although I think I may have read it and Personal Demon in the wrong order It didn't really matter though, thank goodness. Starting Living With The Dead by the same author now.
  6. A plane is on its way to Toronto, when a blonde in economy class gets up, and moves to the first class section and sits down. The flight attendant watches her do this, and asks to see her ticket. She then tells the blonde that she paid for economy class, and that she will have to sit in the back. The blonde replies, "I'm blonde, I'm beautiful, I'm going to Toronto and I'm staying right here." The flight attendant goes into the cockpit and tells the pilot and the co-pilot that there is a blonde bimbo sitting in first class, who belongs in economy, and won't move back to her seat. The co-pilot goes back to the blonde and tries to explain that because she only paid for economy she will have to leave and return to her seat. The blonde replies, "I'm blonde, I'm beautiful, I'm going to Toronto and I'm staying right here." The co-pilot tells the pilot that he probably should have the police waiting when they land to arrest this blonde woman who won't listen to reason. The pilot says, "You say she is a blonde? I'll handle this, I'm married to a blonde. I speak blonde." He goes back to the blonde and whispers in her ear. She gets up and says, "oh, I'm sorry!" and gets up and goes back to her seat in economy.. The flight attendant and co-pilot are amazed and asked him what he said to make her move without any fuss. The pilot answered, "I told her first class doesn't go to Toronto."

  10. Oooh yes please ... his leather jacket look is very appealing too, so that would do failing the suit
  11. Exactly! Forget the rest of the characters, just show us Eric!! Smouldering sexily with that oh so gorgeous smile .... Oh dear gawd! .. roll on series 4!!!
  12. This is nice to hear. Obviously she's been getting other negative feedback about the latest books but at least she's listening to it. Its sounding better already! I really don't like the character of I was wondering what would happen. Do I need to read Fractured first? This is my main problem, switching the lappy off Someone got me addicted to a farming game on Facebook! Not mentioning any names, ... it was Michelle!!! hehe
  13. I think its cause I've been sat on the sofa on my lappy all day! How is Genesis? Is it any better than her last one?
  14. yeah I laughed out loud at that Steph! Looking forward to seeing Charlaine in the finale
  15. I haven't read a thing today. Nothing. Zilch.
  16. Totally agree Gyre, the series has totally put me off Bill. I mean I was put off him in the books but not to the point where he annoys me so much as he does now in the programme! I cannot stand the way he talks, he's more like her Dad than boyfriend for heavens sake!
  17. I watched episode 11 of season 2 last night and hate to say it but Having said that Eric was just as much of a hunny as ever! I loved him with the 'Teacup Humans' too!
  18. Hi Naphilia to the forum!

thank you so much for your lovely comments on my house album, its comments like those which help make the stress of it all worth while  As you know its still a work in progress but I'm pleased with the result so far. Glad you liked it too :smile2: thank you too for the RP pic! He's still as handsome as ever, although I did see him in the Harry Potter film the other day and he was soooo young! He's much nicer with a bit of stubble on him, then I dont feel like such a cradle snatcher!

I'm so loving No Humans Involved at the min, these books are so easy to get into especially after having read the rest ;) Would love to see more of Elena and Clayton with their puppies!

Hey Echo! I was just reading about your joint injections, ouch! I feel your pain! :console: I had to have the same thing a few years ago and boy that was one huge needle  Needless to say the air in the room was blue! I hope it helps you in the long run hun

  24. It's great catwoman Kelley Armstrong would have to be one of my favourite authors now ... mind you, I have quite a few
  25. I'm so glad you enjoyed this catwoman! Could we have another budding Dexterette to join our social group?? I do agree with you about the gory detailing, but I think you'll find in the second book (the best of the series IMO) the gore factor is stepped up a notch and there is a lot more humour too. As you say the technical jargon is less than most crime books but for a light quick read, I think they're brilliant
