I received 5 books in the post this weekend. The Killing Dance Burnt Offerings Blue Moon Obsidian Butterfly .. all by Laurell K Hamilton Ecstacy Unveiled by Larissa Ione I've just finished The Killing Dance and have started Burnt Offerings, I'm really enjoying this series so far

My thinking exactly! I'm just about to abandon this, maybe I should rethink? Mind you, I thought Let The Right One In was brilliant, and yet we both loved The Historian! Don't ya just love how everyone can love one thing, yet have different views on another!

Excellent haul peacefield! I hope you enjoy your new Armstrong installments! They've released The Lost Book of Salem over here now as The Physick Book of Deliverance Dane, with a beautiful new cover too! I'm really tempted to buy a copy even though The Book of Lost Salem is so pretty too!

Have you ever missed the message of a book?

I never pick up a book looking for a message, hidden or otherwise. If the book entertains me then I consider it a good read. If it doesn't? Then I'll move on to one that does. Some books do affect me more than others in that I'll still be thinking of them for days after, but not in a deep 'what did it all mean' way. -
Omw! I hope you're ok! I really, really just can't get into The End of Mr Y and it's so annoying I think I may have to abandon this one, which would be the second book I've abandoned this year, so not happy doing that but somehow I can't see the point of carrying on with something I'm not enjoying .
