  1. Having spent the last ten years working for this airline, you'd have thought I'd have a better parking spot by now. ~ Air Babylon by Imogen Edwards-Jones
  2. Here's my pick for Reacher - they'd just have to make his hair a little darker:
  3. Hi! Yeah, in 27 days I finish working there! Can't wait! It's been very hard for the last few months! I was bullied to the point of being suicidal, by my boss & had to take a month off work. While I was off sick I handed in my notice & filed a grienance against my boss - which the company found to have no grounds (big surprise!). I'm now appealing the decision, so we shall see what happens!

  4. This sort of (ok, definately doesn't) count, but I had a meeting today with a certain Executive Producer about accommodation for cast & crew of a new movie that's being filmed in my area soon.....staring a very famous lead actor. (The movie's coming out in 2010, though)
  5. We had garlic-crumb covered haddock, curly fries & beans (I was being lazy!)
  6. Season 1 is based on the 1st book but all of the others are completely independent.
  7. From what I understand the tv series & the books are completely different - the story-lines in the tv show are not based on the books (good thing, since he's only written 4 books, lol). I have yet to see the tv show & I think that I probably shall avoid it. I just have this feeling that it'll be like "Bones" - nothing like the books. (which annoys me!)
  8. Casey at the Bat is a fantastic poem! I first read that when I was 15 & love love loved it!
  9. For me, it's mashed potatoes & gravy! Nice big bowl of it!

  11. Hi Beth! Hope your move went smoothly & that we hear how great Hong Kong is once you're settled! Oh yeah, also hope you're feeling better soon.

    Hello!

Hi Sally! I've never read Twilight & I suspect I wouldn't like twilight, so I'm sure we'll get on fine, lol. Actually, I suspect there are a lot of us who have never read Twilight on here!

  19. Oh Frankie, I'm so jealous! I asked my OH if he thought we could stretch to me buying a couple of books this weekend & he said sure, especially as he's off out with friends this weekend - again!
  20. Big Red Bath by Julia Jarman and Adrian Reynolds
  21. Have you read many Jonathan Kellerman books, madcow? I think he's a brilliant writer, but I don't know very many people (my family aside) who do read his books.
