  8. Well bloomin' heck, lookie here, I found me a lost charm! How you doing, my dear? PS: Welcome back!

  9. Really? Are you sure?
  10. I finished reading Air Babylon last night. What a waste of my time, lol! It wasn't horrid, but I wish I hadn't bothered. 3/10
  11. Mine is similar to yours Rawr. In Canada everyone calls it either Supper or Dinner, depending where you grew up. In my neck of the woods we called it supper. (We've eaten & tonight we had homemade chicken stew)
  12. Unfortunately my recommendation choice is going to have to wait until I am working again as a second hand copy (paperback!) is from
  13. Hello Bookologist! Welcome to the forum!
  14. Hello! Ah, no worries, my work situation will sort itself out. I have no fear (ok, maybe a little fear).

Singapore, huh? Jealous. Definately jealous. Wonder if they still have the flogging laws there?

  15. Ok, I'm suffering from serious Charm withdrawl now :smile2: and feeling somewhat like a stalker, lol! 9 days, Charm! 9 days! Come back!!!! :motz:

  16. I don't think many jockeys are owners of the horses they race. Not even the trainers often own the horses they train. On a jaded note, I am sure that the owners will be well compensated by their insurance company, but it is sad that horses do die as a result of this race.
  17. Definately a yum there, ii! Something I have at least once a trip to Sweden. Now, if only I could find someone over here who sells reindeer.
  18. My favourites are: Gnocchi in a nice cream sauce with zucchini Meatloaf with dauphinoise potatoes French stick, cold chicken and red pepper hummous Banana Bread Apple crumble Cold Corn Bread Muffins with a little bit of butter - yum!
  19. Our horse came third. The kicker is that at the last minute I decided to not place a bet on Mon Mome! I'd been thinking of betting on him because I love the name Liam & that's the name of the jockey who rode him. Oh well! Guess I should follow my inclinations, lol.
  20. Most definately! He's big, like Reacher & looks like someone who could be a military policeman, so definately he's my top pick!
  21. It's Dolph Lundgren! :eek2:
  22. Nope. He's the perfect Reacher age!
  23. I'd choose No country for old men.
  24. Ooh! Going to have to look him up!
  25. I haven't read mine yet, but I also haven't bought any new books in a couple months.
