Well, That was not what I expected!
-
I missed this (bah!)
but I did watch one of his dvd's the other day where he did all kinds of mind reading related things. I have no clue how he does it but he is incredibly good at what he does.
-
At this point in time I have more of what could be called a to be read room rather than list.

yes, I for one welcome my new Google overlords.
-
I was a long time firefox user but recently moved to Google Chrome as it uses WAY less RAM. Just use firefox now for flash sites e.g youtube until google get chrome 100% working for Linux.

/me bows

or google chrome
Well now at least we know the problem is with opera, perhaps try emptying the cache? link
-
hm, out of interest, could you try connecting to the site using a different browser to see if that fixes it?
-
computer
Is it consistent across computers? or just one? Which web browser are you using?
-
It happens, not often but it does happen
Could be perhaps a cache/cookie issue, then again that would have shown up using cntrl+f5..try logging out then back in?
Also does this only happen on one comp or on several?
-
And its only with this site?
-
out of interest does it help if when on the page you hold cntrl and press f5 ?

I have read a few chuck books over the years, Fight Club, Non-fiction, Rant
Rant was very strange, I liked it a lot just because it was so..out there. I also loved the concept of a mother putting sharp objects into peoples food so they "enjoy it more"

My first job was computer engineer in a local computer shop, easy money stress free days, I wish I still had that job. Making money for doing windows installs and fitting the occasional bit of hardware. Oh how I miss it.

I have read one of his books that mainly revolved around his years "under the liquid cosh" (sedation in the loony bin) it was..odd. He can be incredibly violent but also artistic, plus he once described himself to a judge as being "as guilty as O.J"

you know, if we got organized we could break in and hold them to ransom.

I've thought of another one - Dead Like Me was some of the darkest humour around and really appealed to me, but was cancelled after just two seasons.
There is at least a Dead Like Me movie
I thought Jericho had excellent potential but it just never really got the chance. shame really. There have not been a great deal of promising new shows this years that I have heard about either
-
I enjoyed the first two parts, although I did spend the first 40 min or so wondering where I knew Tom Hardy's voice from, then it dawned on me he played Charlie Bronson in "Bronson" recently. So far I quite like the show, for some reason Freddy reminds me of Cook from the last season of Skins.

I dont write on my own books (I underline things in PENCIL and mark the page with a tiny post-it thing I can write on). But I would never dream of writing on a book, never mind someone ease's.
-
Interestingly I was thinking about this the other day, I have only read a few books that short but found them enjoyable, but I do find that I enjoy longer books more.
-
it's not that either
A standard, out the box wifi router is set to yell to computers "I AM HERE COME USE ME" for them to connect is..just using. Windows will even do it by default. If they force their way on when its passworded or other wise protected its cracking. In the vast majority of cases though the router is simply not protected.
-
well it depends on your router, but generally it will show up on the logs and there should be a dhcp lease for the person connecting. that is assuming they are just a normal user, if they cover their tracks it can be difficult (can we stop calling it "hacking" now? because using someone else's wifi is NOT hacking)
-
yeah, they do tend to be a bit more difficult to crack, but someone persistent would still get in.
