  1. I like 'em with sugar, lemon and a handful of sultanas or raisins
  2. Quinoa (I think that's how you spell it). Tried it with a veg curry instead of rice and it was good
  3. Yes, Trig was brilliant. I loved that line when he was talking about his girlfriend who had a lazy eye and he said he never knew whether she was gazing at him or looking to see if her bus was coming!
  4. I really don't like that advert where the child is announcing that he is going to his friend's house to 'do a poo'. This ad usually comes on at meal times and I have to turn down the sound so I don't know what the product is that the ad is supposed to be persuading us to buy and I don't really have any desire to find out!
  5. I loved 'Only Fools' and liked both Grandad and Uncle Albert. However, the programme was spoilt a bit for me when Rodders' girlfriend / wife, Cassie, came onto the scene. She really irritated me
  6. Thank you, Lexiepiper!
  7. Leonard Cohen Joan Baez Joni Mitchell Tom Paxton Fairport Convention
  8. I've got a feeling they will, Ben!
  9. Crime and Classics for me. Not really sure what 'Chick Lit' is, to be honest.
  10. Wasn't he the doctor at the hospital? Enjoyed the programme but found the final episode a bit of a disappointment, to be honest. But, as has been said, it was a well made, well acted drama and, now that the DI has been put back on normal duties, I wouldn't be suprised to see the team back in further adventures. In the real Ripper case one of the suspects, Mongague Druitt, drowned himself in the Thames.
  11. Sorry, Inver. I don't watch it any more so have no idea. I'm sure someone will be able to help, though
  12. It's got to be someone who
  13. Just seen the new Co-op advert with Bob Dylan's 'Blowin' in the Wind'!
  14. I watched it years ago when Helen, Jim, Joe Mangel etc were in it. I hadn't seen it for ages until I went to stay with some relatives who were into it and I saw Paul was back on the scene!
  15. Thanks, Cadenza!
  16. Preferably someone who was a lift engineer before he decided to take up the pen
  17. Heard so much about these gadgets that when I went into Waterstone's today I decided to try one out (a Sony) . Quite a good idea for folk who travel a lot but a tad too expensive for me. Anyway, I like the feel and smell of a real book (and the whole page-turning thing!)
  18. Is Paul Robinson still in it?
  19. Me too, Ben! Sometimes these ITV programmes that promise so much end up delivering little. But so far, in my opinion, this one has been a goer. Well done, ITV! (I still have to look away during the post-mortem bits though)
  20. Thanks, Ben
  21. He probably needs to make a few bob from something since he was bumped off in 'Eastenders'!
  22. I thought that if you typed in 'find the meerkat' you would automatically be re-directed to the insurance site. But no!
  23. It's great isn't it? Glad you liked it!
  24. Yes, that's the one! Awful!
