10/10 for me today but the Dark Tower questions were all guess-work on my part! Never read any of the books but the question-master obviously loves 'em!
I quite like the look of Jo-Wilfried Tsonga this year and I hope Andy Roddick does well, too.
I'd also like to see Federer beat Sampras' record but don't think he will. Not yet, anyway.
Yes, Bryn is my favourite character in Gavin and Stacey, too. During his show he has an audience question and answer spot and someone asked him what happened on the fishing trip, as no-one seems to know. Rob doesn't know, either!
I wanted him to get the record, too! Really pleased that he did it. I've watched tennis for many years now and my favourite player was McEnroe but the best I've ever seen is Federer.
I must change my 'currently reading' bit as I finished it a while ago. I loved this book and will read it again, I'm sure. I'll have a look at your thread, Mac
Managed to see Rob Brydon's stand-up show on his recent tour and loved it. I've enjoyed his TV sitcoms (Marion and Geoff etc) but hadn't 'seen him as himself before and wasn't sure what to expect. I needn't have worried. Very, very funny and talented chap, in my opinion!
I lost internet connection half-way through the quiz tonight. I did very well (for me) with the quiz but the clock was ticking while I was off-line and I think I incurred a time penalty
Tom Sharpe's novels always make me laugh, especially 'The Throwback'. I chortled all the way through that, drawing worried glances from my fellow travellers on the train as a result!
