  1. I remember me and my brother laughing so much when we saw that bit that we missed what happened next.

So did I! That was hilarious and just what the spoilt little brat deserved. It's about time someone took him down a peg or two. I'm not liking the Chas/Carl storyline though. I feel sorry for Paddy (even though I don't like him). Everything's going to hit the fan soon.

    Happy Birthday! :balloons:

I'm sorry to hear about your aunty, Kylie. :friends0:

  5. Yay, won last month! I think I'll leave on a high and retire from the quiz. Happy quizzing everyone!
  6. How could I have forgotten Doctor Who? That's a great theme, it sends shivers down my spine.
  7. Buffy Angel The Prisoner Roswell Dexter
  8. That's a bit weird, having a show on a Friday night. September 18th? For some reason I thought it was starting this weekend! Doh. I'll be glad when it's everyone dancing together in one show. I prefer that to males one week, females another or this new way etc. Still, I suppose it would be a very long show in the first couple of weeks if everyone danced. But I could live with that!
  9. Chesilbeach, your site looks really good! I'll have to check it out properly when I have more time. I forgot to say that out of the professionals, I also like Ola. I think she is an excellent dancer and very sexy when she dances (and I say that as a heterosexual female!). I don't mind Phil Tuffnell, he makes me laugh. When does this series actually start anyway?
  10. He might catch up with him, but only when they want to end the series, as it would be the end for the lovely Patrick Jane. He's already said that he would kill Red John slowly if he ever found him, so that would mean Patrick going to prison. Unless he used his brilliance to do it without being caught!

Oh yes, this is making me so mad it's almost stopping me from watching! The reason I'm so mad is because it's just what happens in reality, the teenage yobs get away with anything whilst the person who tried to protect themselves or their property is up on charges. Aaron is an absolute scumbag. I hope Zac sorts him out. Just when I thought Aaron was improving he did that. And why hasn't Aaron been charged with arson?! Arrgghh!!
  12. Mmm... Can't say I'm that impressed, but I'm sure I'll pick someone to root for. I hope Anton gets someone decent too, he always seems to get a no-hoper. The girl who danced with John Sargeant was Christina I think. I quite liked her too, but I couldn't warm to Hayley, who will not be in it this year.
  13. I can't stand Brendan, he's an arrogant little . And I don't like Brian either (sorry!). I like Darren, Lilia, Flavia and Vincent (he makes me laugh).
  14. That's the only series of your list that I've read, and I really enjoyed it, so I would recommend that one! I started to read Kushiel's Dart, but gave up before I was halfway through. I just couldn't get into it. I'm a bit confused about why you say there's no plot! It may not be a very complicated plot, with lots of little sub-plots going on in the background, but there's still a strong plot, however simple it might be! I'm starting to pick up the teensiest hint that this book really isn't your cup of tea!
  15. Thanks, Chesilbeach! I'm not surprised I didn't know them, considering I've never watched breakfast TV, Hollyoaks or The One Show in my life. To be honest, I'm not that impressed with this line-up. I wish there were some more people I'm actually familiar with! Or that I fancied... Where are Simon Baker, Richard Armitage and James Marsters when you need them?!
  16. Gyre . There's nothing worse than noisy neighbours; I've had more than my fair share of those over the years. Your home should be your sanctuary, not a place where your peace is disturbed or you feel threatened. I hope he stops doing it soon. Would a call to the police help or make things worse, do you think?
  17. Never heard of them...
  18. Inver, that is a gorgeous picture of Simon! *swoon*
  19. I've just watched the final two episodes of the series and both were excellent! I actually preferred the penultimate episode to the finale though. Did anyone else watch them? What did you think? I'm seriously considering buying the Season 1 boxset, even though I've seen all the episodes. Now I've got the two little half-hour documentary things from Five to watch.
  20. The people who live round the corner, who have a garage opposite my house. They keep parking in front of it, meaning that I can't make the turn into my drive. I know they have a right to park there, but it makes things very difficult for me. I've already scraped my car trying to get through my gates.
  21. I watched the final three episodes of Season 1 of Angel last night, and they were pretty good. Poor old Cordelia, in agony and going mad with her visions. And Wesley nearly got blown up. Yes!! Er, I mean Oh dear. Ahem. Nice to see Gunn being introduced.
  22. I voted Fantasy. I love it for the escapism - I don't want to read about boring, normal life; I have to live that! Give me different worlds, magicians, supernatural powers etc... In a made-up world, there's no limit to what's possible, and I love that.
  23. Descriptions of surroundings that last for several pages, are extremely boring and repetitive and get in the way of furthering the plot. Yes, I'm talking about you, Dean Koontz.
  24. I thought the last Cherub book (The General?) wasn't quite up to par. It seemed a bit lacking in ideas and excitement compared to the others in the series.
