Louise? As far as I can remember she got away with it. But it was self-defence - he was a nasty bit of work. Sally Oliver who played Lexi has left now, but "the door has been left open for her to return".

I watched the two Faith episodes last night (Five by Five and Sanctuary)! Absolutely brilliant! I loved them. But then I already knew I loved them, as they're the only two episodes I can remember out of the entire five seasons of Angel. I think Eliza Dushku does a great job, conveying disturbed killer and vulnerable young woman equally well. As this thread's resident Buffy champion, I'll give you that one! You can hardly hit someone and then complain when they hit you back. I'll tell you who I hated as well, cop Kate when she threatened to put Angel in an east-facing cell. The . After all Angel's done for her. I've only got three episodes of Season 1 left to watch.

When Lexi was on the stairs with the baby, I think some workers came down and passed her, so they must have been working on the roof and not replaced the chain. Anyway, I thought that was a really good, dramatic episode! I honestly thought that either Carl or Lexi (or both) was going to go over the edge. When they fell, the camera angle made it look like they'd gone over, but luckily they fell the other way. I'm glad it's all been sorted out and that Lexi is now free to find someone who will love her and want a baby with her. I always felt sorry for her because Carl didn't love her. I wonder if she'll be in tonight's episode or if that was the last we'll see of her?

I'm now making an effort to watch all my Angel boxset! I'm still on Season 1, and the last one I saw was the one where Cordelia wakes up pregnant by a demon! I'm looking forward to the ones Faith is in (coming up soon) as they're the only ones I can remember anything about. Must say I got a bit upset And I really, really can't stand Wesley! To think that and we got Wes as a replacement. Some bargain, I don't think.

Well, it's not exactly great literature or anything, but I really enjoyed the trilogy. I think it depends how much you like the character of Sonea. It's also very much a build-up for the next two books. I haven't picked up Canavan's latest (that I'm supposed to be reading) for months. I just can't get into it.

I totally agree - I'm surprised I didn't lose my reading mojo for life, the books we had to read for O and A Level. The only bit I'd disagree with is that the books I had to read weren't fantastic! Well, I should explain that they were well-regarded classics, but they were not my cup of tea at all. I get so envious of people who say they read stuff like The Hobbit and 1984.

Yeah. Nicola knows that Carl doesn't want kids (and doesn't really want to be married to Lexie) so she told him to be honest with Lexie about the kids issue. He finally did the right thing and was straight with her, so Lexie was very upset. Nicola was comforting Lexie and let it slip that she had told Carl to be honest, so Lexie blamed Nicola! They argued, Lexie went storming off upstairs and Nicola followed her. I'm not too sure whether Lexie gave Nicola a little push or not (I watched it, but it all happened so quickly!) and Nicola slipped and fell downstairs. Carl has been really nasty with Lexie since then, even though Nicola has forgiven her! Speaking of which, Carl was horrible to Lexie again tonight when they went to visit the new baby. Lexie wanted to hold her, but Carl made her go off to buy the coffees! And Lexie let him tell her what to do! I wish she'd have stood up for herself and told him she was going to hold her. She is such a doormat. I thought the girl who plays Nicola did a brilliant job acting out the delivery last night. I loved the evil looks she kept giving Jimmy! But it wasn't over the top, it was a great performance. Can't work out what Natasha's game is with Faye.

I quite like them so far. The mum and dad are very natural and it's nice to see a couple in love, though no doubt there will be marriage difficulties soon, with it being Emmerdale! The boy I haven't decided about yet, but the two girls aren't the best actors. Still, at least they're more normal and not the usual spoilt brats.

Ha ha! Yes, Bishop George! Edna could become his housekeeper (or he could move in with her), and gradually they become closer... Ew. Seriously, Edna would never entertain another love affair, would she? She seems utterly devoted to her dead husband (whoever he was) and would see it as a huge betrayal if ever she fell for someone else. It seems she is destined to have only her little dog for company. Aw.

Yeah, that's a great idea for Edna! It would have to be someone very religious though, so that narrows it down to... Ashley! Maybe they can have a fling!

Yeah, I hope so too. I like Karen. It did say she wanted to pursue other things, but they were trying to put the ageism slant on it by saying they were getting rid of one of the older dancers and bringing in some younger ones.

I'm glad Carl has finally come clean to Lexie! But poor Nicola, getting the blame (I never thought I'd ever feel sorry for Nicola!) I did get one thing wrong - when Lily gave the bag of jumble to Betty I thought their mother's gold brooch was bound to be in it, creating all sorts of problems for Edna. I don't know why Edna gave it to Lily though, she'll lose it half a mile down the road. And I don't like/trust that bloke she's gone off with.

Oh yes, job offers in Soapland totally bug me! They always get offered them on the spot after a brief conversation, with no interview. Hours, wage and what day/time they need to start are never mentioned! If only getting a job were that easy in real life!

Arlene used to annoy me sometimes, especially when she was flirting with the men! But she is an ex-dancer and a choreographer, and she knew her stuff. I don't think Alesha will be able to provide constructive criticism like Arlene did, I think she's so nice and bubbly she'll just tell everyone they're great! I like Alesha, and wanted her to win when she was dancing, but if they really wanted her as a judge I think she should have been added to the existing panel. That way, with five judges we wouldn't have tie situations anymore.

My favourite Argentine Tango dancers are Flavia and Vincent. They are so passionate, they give me goosebumps. They must be good actors, considering their past! My favourite dances to watch are the tango, Argentine tango and paso doble. I'm looking forward to Strictly coming back! What do you think about Arlene being sacked?
