  1. Really? I'm sure I will be fine. I've handled worse, but I'll see what happens. I'm even more intrigued now. It arrived this morning with Emo Geo but I don't know which one to read first now.

  2. That sounds like a good read Nici. I will look forward to your review.
  3. I thought that's what it was. I might take it up now and read in time for the London ones instead.
  4. I am willing to bet that this will be on when I am putting the girls to bed. All the good program are. I've had to miss Last Choir Standing too:irked:
  5. Sammy I have tried to answer your question. I'm sorry if it doesn't make sense. I haven't time to read it over. I've had to put it in a spoiler just in case.
  6. I have a blog thing on here. I also created an acount at librarything but with two young girls I haven't found the time to list my books.
  7. Thank you. I shall look forward to reading this one. x

  8. I think most of us have odd dreams, or maybe it's just us readers, It sounds like a very interesting read though. I love reading these sorts of books too. There is lot's of history and people I'm interested in as well religious and scientific things, and even some things to do with the natural world, but I don't have much time with the kids. I can only hold small paperback while feeding the baby too for any length of time.
  9. Yes I would like it. Sorry about that, I got an email saying my inbox was full. It isn't something I have had time to really look at. I shall go and sort it out now, and then I'll send you my address.

  10. I agree, It sounds really interesting from the blurb, but from the review it sounds terrible.
  11. Hi! Welcome to the forum.

  12. Sounds interesting Lukeazade. Is it a study book, or are you just reading for interest?
  13. It's OK, don't worry about it. I didn't mean to sound offended.
  14. It sounds somewhat unique, but I only know bits myself, so I couldn't say by looking either.
  15. I made a Vindaloo tonight. Gorgeous. Katie loved it too.
  16. No, I only know it as Rooibos so I can't confuse it. There was a German woman in our team in Africa who was enthusiastic about how good it was, and I loved it, which is why I remember it, although I was wrong about it being German. It seems the Germans took it from South Africa, but for the same reason (Namibia and South Africa being German colonies) so I wasn't that wrong and it is still known in Germany. I know that.
  17. A good christmas present I think. I would be interested in reading it too. I am a fan of Star Wars.
  18. OK yes thanks. Do you still have my address? PM me yours and I will get it to you soon. Maybe post it on Wed.
  19. Lynne Hybels faith is absolutely amazing. I think her book could realy help a lot of women, but would be much more helpful if it was longer. After starting it and then getting engrosed in other books I am going back to In Search of Adam, but will read it alongside another book, maybe a christian one. I'll have to look on my christian bookshelves. I wanted to read The Memory Keeper's Daughter but it isn't due in the library till tomorrow, so maybe I will get it on Wed when we go.
  20. Kate, would you like me to send you Nice Girls Don't Change The World? I want to have a quick look back at it but that shouldn't take me more than a few moments if I find some time on my own. Also, do you know any good books about having a relationship with God? Well really about seeing God as father. I have always been very close to God, but since I have recently changed my life dramatically and faced a lot of challenges I think I need reminding of a few things.
  21. This sounds like the best birthday present ever. It sounds like a wonderful place. Have a great time.
  22. There has been talk of having a library in the side room on the top floor of our house, but when it will be got around to I don't know. Mine and the girls bookcases in our bedooms, and the shelves in my room are all full and I am planning on collecting more books for the girls, and I certainly want more. I might have to get rid of some of the older books.
  23. What I really really want at the moment is the four books in Hans Urs Von Balthasar's Theo-Logic series, but they are £20 each new.
