  1. Hiya. Welcome to the forum.
  2. I could give you the recipe I found for cheese sauce. Even I can get that right. Ainsley does meals in 5. They are in the pot noodle section. One is mac cheese flavour. You can get them in tesco. The cous cous is nice too. Its a while sinceI had cous cous.
  3. Sounds familiar..
  4. I so need to read more Shakespeare. I have so much else to read (and to do!) The first play I read was A Midsummer Night's Dream, which is my favourite, then Macbeth, then Romeo and Juliet, then a little bit of Merchant of Venice (becase the stupid teacher thought i could read in one night before my mock exam), and then I saw Twelfth Night (my second favourite) at the Shakespeare theatre in Stratford. I absolutely love Shakespeare. His sonnets are great. I have had the complete works for some time, which someone gave me knowing my love for Shakespeare and I am sorry to say that I have not read much out of it yet. I suppose t also need the type pf concentration I don't have at the moment having the children.
  5. there are the batchelors pastas as has been said, or Ainsley Harriot does a good mac and cheese dried meal. You could always make your own. Now you mention it I think I have only seen frozen and tinned varieties. Have to keep a look out.. Right yo are making me hungry. I want macaroni and cheese. I think Angerball should bring us all some back with her..
  6. I have hardly read any. I need to get a move on.
  7. Maybe Angerball was referring to Kraft macaroni and cheese as being superior to other types? Mac and cheese is one of my fave meals. No it is my fave, with hot dogs..
  8. I went to a great little tea party for Drex's Mum's birthday. She invited all her poetry friends and baked lot's and lot's of cakes. Very indulgent..
  9. You know, some older people would call tea a cuppa and lots of cake mid afternoon.
  10. I was just about to say that but then I thought, well elevenses is better. It must be having Katie or something but I am up at 6. We breafast around 8 and I am always hungry by 11 so have a snack.
  11. I decided on cheese and beans on toast! I have just finished the tin of beans on toast. For some reaon I am absolutely starving lately. I could hardly concentrate at band I was that hungry. It must be breastfeeding and being pregnant, but I am not convinced. I still feel greedy (even though I am getting hunger pains!) Everyone has different names for meals. We have lunch and dinner, my Mum has dinner and tea. I have told her that tea is a drink. Dinner is a main meal. I sometimes find myself saying I am going to do Katie's tea, as kids and tea just seem to go together, but mostly it is din dins (dinner). If we have supper, that is a snack or light meal somewhere between dinner and bed (usually when I have been to band and am hungry; usually is potato cakes).
  12. I am trying to decide between a cheese salad sandwich and beans on toast.
  13. Hello and welcome

    Hello

Welcome. Definitely know where you're coming from on the motherhood front. I have a clingy 7 month old and am expecting my 2nd. Enjoy the forum.
  15. HI Jazz. Welcome
  16. I have slowly read the intro to my book. The second intro is one written by the author and is terribly monotonous, repetitive, and hardly worth the effort. The book begins in much the same style. I seriously hope the book is not all like that. It had promised to be such an enlightening, or at least, very entertaining book from the blurb.
  17. I will post tomorrow. It is a great book. OH has been hogging the computer all day and I think he'll want it back when he is off the phone. EDIT: Great: Now I have lost the note book I wrote it all in! I thought I had left it by the bed.
  18. Jen had the word serial in her thread title so i thought that that was what she meant. I obviously need to re-read it..
  19. There is a handy introduction in my book that is more like a review. I am really going to make an effort with this one though (katie permitting - by the time I get round to these tings my brain usually does not have the energy to cope!).
  20. I have read this and written down some thoughts. I will post them tomorrow when I am (hopefully) not tired.
  21. Welcome to the forum.
  22. i haven't seen a club for ages. I'm not sure if they do them here. I mss Liverpool..
