  1. Supersize vs Superskinny. Really makes you think about what you're eating.
  2. Is it weird that I felt full from chocolate before dinner then had dinner and an hour later I'm hungry? I'm so weird. xD
  3. I was born at 5:30 in the morning. Doesn't work out for me. I used to be lazy as hell in terms of homework, but knowing that my university course depends on it, this year I have really knuckled down. I do it as soon as possible, if not on the day I get it after I've played games or something. I hate getting up in the morning but I do it anyway but when I don't have to be in 'til late I sleep in and I moan about doing things even though I still do them when I should.
  4. Yay! We can apply for student finance now. That's my evening for tomorrow sorted

  5. Ah makes sense. Might try it at some point.
  6. Some Volvic mixed berry drink
  7. I can't remember if it was the King James Bible or another that allowed common people to be able to read the Bible themselves without being ripped off by people of the church in order to make money but it is definitely revolutionary within literature. I think most of these are hugely influential in the way that they have opened the minds of humans to controversy and more. Also the changes in literary styles.
  8. Turns out I am doing a feminist essay on Daddy by Sylvia Plath but somehow ended up talking about how political and personal situations are the same in terms of feminism instead of female empowerment. xD Should be interesting. Have about 2-3 weeks to get this finished and perfect.
  9. Nicole Sherzinger - Boomerang
  10. I downloaded a couple free ebooks onto my Kobo last night so I now need to read: The Emperor's Edge - Lindsay Buroker Double Trouble - Claire Cross and Deborah Cooke NightDrake - Lara Adrian So they should be interesting to get into eventually.
  11. Why is it always the case when writing an essay that you think it sounds good but will probably have things to change from the teacher.

  12. Just randomly writing out sections of text for my poetry essay. God knows how this will fit together.

  13. I don't know what Jack Reacher would come under but I like that style. xD I like the police procedural as well. I think most of Michael Connolly's are like that.
  14. That dystopian sounds a bit weird from the synopsis on her website. Love being the disease? I don't know if I would personally call that dystopian.
  15. Restarted Lady Chatterley's Lover this morning so I can mark pages that mention anything to do with social class for my next literature essay. And gotten further into The Farm. I stopped just as a good part was about to start so I can't wait to find out what will happen.
  16. Gok Wan's Beef in Tomato Sauce
  17. Can of Dr Pepper
  18. Hollyoaks
  19. I need to start an essay for literature. And I can't think on how to write my intro paragraph.
  20. Les Mis! I did like it but near the end I was drifting away from the film and thinking about when I got home. I liked the singing but there was just too much and when they're having a conversation in song it doesn't sound right. Absolutely loved all the group singing though! My favourite parts were with Sacha Baren-Cohen and Helena Bonham-Carter
  21. Ah okay, sorry about that. xD
  22. Started Robinson Crusoe then put it down after 5 pages. His sentence structure is appalling!

I will probably have to read it at some point as well when I go into uni as well. Gonna be so tedious.

    3. Hayley

It was the lengthy sections about his fence that got me. It does get pretty interesting about 3/4 of the way through though...

I only read about him wanting to go to sea and all these weird ramblings on about god knows what. Don't think I could stomach that far just for the good parts.

  23. I haven't picked these up and to be honest, I doubt I will. It's cringy reading sex scenes in normal novels let alone a novel all about it. Fair play to those who love it but no thanks. I wouldn't waste money on books like that when I can get gripped by fantasy or sci-fi or a decent young adult novel that is traditional (girl likes boy, conflict, resolve, fall in love).
  24. Blackcurrant. Getting back on the straight and narrow after so much sugar.
