  1. Just finished the Mistborn Trilogy. Will have a review up on my blog within the next day or so. Got a bit tedious towards the end but I had to increase the font size on my Kobo so one page fit into 3 on my Kobo so thought I was further in than I really was. xD
  2. Got beef stew and dumplings tonight.
  3. I would definitely agree with Jane Eyre. I read it at the beginning of this year and loved the romanticism about it. I also think of One Day by David Nicholls. It's basically a whole novel about romance and the obstacles people can go through to be together. I loved that book.
  4. Ditto. Waterstones always have BOGOF or buy one and get the second for a penny. They never really stop them. Would be great if we had one of them. I would absolutely love it.
  5. I'm not really sure. In a way Harry Potter could be seen as better than the book just by the way that they've presented it and how realistic it actually looks with all the special effects and everything. But not really anything that comes to mind. :/
  6. Didn't know there was a World Book Night. Knew there was a World Book Day. Our school really goes for it and gets the lower years to make bookmarks to give out on the day and give out a token to get some books for like a £1 at Waterstones. Never really interested me as the books were also for kids. Didn't know there was really one for adults. Not heard anything about it.
  7. So tomorrow I need to pick up the motivation to start my next literature essay and at least suggest that I've done something during this week off. Also hoping to finish the Mistborn Trilogy and watch more Vampire Diaries.
  8. I've gotten to ep 16 in the first series. Jumped quite a few times, cried a few times, cringed a few times and laughed a few times.
  9. Yes that's the one. It's quite confusing with the North's though. xD
  10. Hi welcome! I just noticed you posted on my blog. Thanks! I would recommend Peter F. Hamilton, Brandon Sanderson and Robert Jordan in terms of fantasy/sci-fi. I greatly enjoyed reading them.
  11. About to finish an episode of Vampire Diaries that I stopped halfway through last night to go to bed.
  12. I've got an Indian takeaway tonight. I'm starving myself for the day so I can eat it all.
  13. Thanks for clarifying the first book of the Demon Cycle. We just went onto Amazon and we were like "Which one is it?!" Yeah, Peter F. Hamilton's book about the North's was quite good and I've got a preview of one of his books on my Kobo... Which I haven't read yet.
  14. Just been into town with my Mum and decided that after I have finished the Mistborn Trilogy I'm going to leave the majority of my ebooks until the beginning of April when I go to my Dad's. Would be a pain to lug a load of books with me on a coach. So, we just brought: The Daylight War - Peter V. Brett The Reality Dysfuntion - Peter F. Hamilton And from me putting these on Goodreads we've realised that The Daylight War is the 3rd in the series so we need to buy the first. xD We've read a Peter F. Hamilton before. The one about the North's! I'm also going to be reading Never Saw It Coming by Linwood Barclay once I've finished the Mistborn Trilogy
  15. Just finished a glass of coke
  16. Room 101
  17. Just downloaded some more free ebooks onto my Kobo. Got: Home Lost by Franz McLaren Socialpunk by Monica Leonelle Blackthorn: A Tale of Fire and Fury by Nik Morgan Think all 3 are dystopian. I know at least 2 are xD
  18. This new kettle is so heavy with water in. Gonna need to grow some muscles! http://t.co/b7PKYujVbF

  19. About to watch another episode of Vampire Diaries
  20. Oh haha. Did you see the film for Anna Karenina?
  21. So I've recently gotten back into the Vampire Diaries. I watched it when it first aired on TV but somehow got sidetracked and never finished that series and only seen a few episodes every so often since then. But I have a general overview of what has happened since. Obviously, it is based off of the books by L.J Smith but I have noticed some inconsistencies with the book and some alterations. I was also told that there are now two versions; the original and the one based off how the TV runs it. What's everyone else think of this series?
  22. Tonight, homemade fish and chips. With gluten free crumbs I hate gluten free! How can people eat the stuff?! It's so dry!
  23. Oh thank you! I have to say the idea of living on a farm is quite appealing. I've mentioned to my boyfriend before that we should live on a farm eventually but I know I wouldn't do well with mucking out animals. But maybe it could be an animal-free farm. What other genres are you interested in?
  24. I may have read the first one but I'm unsure. I know I definitely read another of Cassandra Clare's as well as her Mortal Instruments series so it must've been one of these. Unsure which one. It had witches in a house or something? Definitely looking forward to this. Clare's a great writer. Think I have it on my wishlist on Goodreads.
