poppy Posted October 15, 2011 Posted October 15, 2011 (edited) Bought the third TV series of Auf Wiedersehen Pet yesterday (the one where they dismantle the huge bridge in Middlesbrough and re-erect it in Arizona) and ended up watching the whole thing last night (almost 6 hours) Can't believe I did that! But it is just so good and so funny, kept saying 'Just one more episode, just one more.' Edited October 15, 2011 by poppy
Sofia Posted October 15, 2011 Posted October 15, 2011 I also watched most of My Sister's Keeper. What did you think of it? Did you read the book?
Peacefield Posted October 15, 2011 Posted October 15, 2011 I watched Tron: Legacy tonight. Definitely not as fun of an experience as when I saw the original Tron movie when I was a kid! Oh well.
dawnbirduk Posted October 15, 2011 Posted October 15, 2011 Last I watched The Sum of all Fears a good film, watched it a couple of times before, but I didn't realise the Exectutive producer was Tom Clancy who wrote the book.
Kylie Posted October 16, 2011 Posted October 16, 2011 What did you think of it? Did you read the book? No, I've never read the book, but I knew what it was about and was curious to see how it ended. The movie was reasonably good, I thought. Good acting.

Good acting. say it isn't so!!!! You MUST MUST MUST read the book! I insist....the two couldn't be more different! I really enjoyed the book, it is so much better than the movie!!

I really enjoyed the book, it is so much better than the movie!! Is the ending the same in the book? My Mum read it recently, so I could borrow it off her one day (once I get through several hundred other books I want to read first ).

chesilbeach Posted October 16, 2011 Posted October 16, 2011 The Adjustment Bureau - I like Matt Damon and I love Emily Blunt, so I did enjoy it, but it was a bit rubbish at the same time!
Isandriena Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 Last film I saw was the Human Centipede rented from iTunes. No where hear as bad as people made it out to be.
busy91 Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 Let Me In. The English version of the Swedish movie Let The Right One In. It was realy good, sorry I missed this in the theater.
Karsa Orlong Posted October 18, 2011 Posted October 18, 2011 Let Me In. The English version of the Swedish movie Let The Right One In. It was realy good, sorry I missed this in the theater. I recorded that but I'm scared to watch it because the original was sooo good.
pickle Posted October 19, 2011 Posted October 19, 2011 I watched All About My Mother and tonight I am going to watch Volver I am a big Almodovar since I watched Women on the Verge of a Nervous breakdown
Peacefield Posted October 20, 2011 Posted October 20, 2011 I saw Moneyball on Saturday and it was surprisingly good! It was a true story about the Oakland Athletics baseball team and their manager. Not a typical feel-good underdog story either, which is what I liked about it. Highly recommended you guys!
Tai_Mai_Shu Posted October 21, 2011 Posted October 21, 2011 Scream 4 Actually I thought it was pretty good for a 4th installment slasher flick. gonna watch that tonight
Karsa Orlong Posted October 22, 2011 Posted October 22, 2011 Despicable Me. Loved it. It's so FLUFFY!!!
vodkafan Posted October 22, 2011 Posted October 22, 2011 Watched Bad Teacher last night. Very rude but very funny.
chaliepud Posted October 22, 2011 Posted October 22, 2011 Introduced by kids to Cool Runnings, they loved it too!
Talisman Posted October 22, 2011 Posted October 22, 2011 Contagion - it was okay, but not as good as I expected, considering the cast.
frankie Posted October 23, 2011 Posted October 23, 2011 The Benchwarmers. I've seen better Jon Heder <3
Tai_Mai_Shu Posted October 24, 2011 Posted October 24, 2011 Green Lantern - meh. Scream 4 - the worst one yet
