Esiotrot
Great idea Michelle - off to add mine. I am still obsessed with LT! EDIT - I have added my Library Thing and Book Crossing names to my profile but the Book Crossing name doesnt show at the side when I post? Nici
Thanks for your instructions Michelle, I have now 'tweaked' my page!
Michelle
EDIT - I have added my Library Thing and Book Crossing names to my profile but the Book Crossing name doesnt show at the side when I post? Yes, as of now that's how it's set up. LT seems popular, so I thought it would be better in the side bit. All can be tweaked.. I just need to know what the consensus is, plus the time to do it. Kylie
I finally found out how to get those bars for my Wiki page. I just copied the html from another wiki and changed a few details. My Wiki is here. Thanks for the html tips, Michelle. I'm going to try adding some pics to my profile. I love the flexibility of LT
Kylie
Has anyone noticed that the covers of their books in LibraryThing inexplicably change? I've noticed it a few times but wasn't sure if it was just me. But I know that I had the correct cover for Northanger Abbey there, and now there's no cover at all? Does anyone know how this happens? Maybe I'll check out their FAQ groups.
happyanddandy
Yes it happened recently to my PD James books and has happened to a few others over the months
supergran71
Yes it happened recently to my PD James books and has happened to a few others over the months You can look up other covers to see if yours is there though cant you? Or you can scan yours and upload it.
Michelle
The review books have been allocated, and I'm getting Sugarcoated. Mind you, I got one a few months ago, and it's never turned up!
~V~
Is that a teen book Michelle?
Michelle
You know, I never realised that.. but it looks as if it is! I don't think I've ever read a thriller aimed at teens, so it will be interesting to look at.
~V~
Probably a good quick-read too
Echo
I won again! I'm getting something called Devil's Cape by Rob Rogers. Here's the Amazon link. It looks really good, so I hope it comes soon!
Nici
I've won Sugarcoated as well!
happyanddandy
No luck for me this time by the look of it - I am also very overdue one book from February
Esiotrot
I got a message - no ER book for me this time, will try again next time.
JudyB
No luck here either - I was a bit worried though as I was unable to finish one (it was so, so slow) and although I wrote a review based on what I read I wondered whether not finishing it would go against me. Heather
I signed up too and was lucked out this time
~V~
I know I'm probably being really really dim, but I can't see how you get to submit reviews. I figured I'd post the ones I do in my blog list here
Echo
To submit the reviews on LT, just click on the Edit Book Information icon for the book you want. Then when you get there, just click Edit, and you should be able to post up and save your review. Let me know if this doesn't make sense. ~V~
It makes sense, I'll give it a go (maybe tomorrow) and let you know. Thanks Echo
happyanddandy
This is a post I found among the ER threads I got Being Emily which makes three in a row, although I haven't got my Feb one yet. Very excited as I have loved both of Donovan's other books. Let's hope I remember the minimum review length is 25 words and don't heave out 250 again! 25 words!!! Can this be true? Off to try and investigate...
Michelle
Yep, there has been some discussion on LT - all they ask is that you have a minimum of 25 words. Some have misread, and have done 250.
happyanddandy
Well I sure did more than 250 for Pippa Lee! . Should I go back and amend?
