princessponti
I'm still waiting for my feb book too, and didn't get my March one *sobs* - really quite fancied the March one!
Echo
I just recently signed up for Early Reviewers (what took me so long??) and I found out I'm getting a book, and it's only my first time. The book I'm getting is bizarre: Seven Days to Sex Appeal: How to Be Sexier Without Surgery, Weight Loss, or Cleavage by Eva Margolies and Stan Jones. I requested it on a whim...how weird is my library that I actually won that??
Guest
Wait. What? You get free books? Why was I not told?
Michelle
Because you obviously weren't around when we started discussing it in May 2007

JudyB
Well, I got The Blackest Bird, but I've been completely unable to finish it as I got heartily bored with it almosst half-way through. I've found it hard going but have also been busy - I think the writing is a bit awkward. I did google a few of the names in the book and found out some background stuff which has made it more interesting for me.
Esiotrot
Maureen - it's a geeky systems thing for me about organisation and control - in fact I am a self confessed control freak and 'Librarything' fulfuls something in me!! Absolutley how I feel I am totally addicted!! Been spending every spare minute creating my library - still more to add and I need to figure out tags but LOVE this site! I used amazon for listing & rating but this is so much better. I have invited a few names I recognise to be friends so you may get a request. If not please add me - Esiotrot (spelt correctly this time LOL!) Kx

happyanddandy
I've just requested Being Emily. I did too Judy plus the lesbian one. Have a look at 'TheBookImp' profile - she has a great layout
JudyB
Just had a look HandD - and like you I would like to know how she did it. I have added the visitor map though.
Kylie
I added the visitor map and then took it off again because no one ever visited and I felt silly TheBookImp posted in someone else's comments a couple of links to FYI groups on LibraryThing (FYI, GreyHead's FAQ). Maybe if you join you can find out how to post pics. I know I'm certainly going to do it! Thanks for bringing it to our attention H&D. I'm even more interested in her Wiki page. I want those bars to keep track of my challenges!
happyanddandy
Off to have a look ar heer Wiki page! I added the map!
Michelle
I think TheBookImp simply uses some html. If anyone wants to do anything specific, let me know, and I'll see if I can help. ETA: I've played a little with my own profile: see here
happyanddandy
I like that Michelle. I would like to do that - is it easy? If you click on the local tab and click on the star by your favourite bookshops and libraries, they show up on your profile too
Michelle
Yep, pretty easy. ~ to underline, simply put <u>title</u> ~ to make something bold, use <b>text</b> ~ to make something italic, <i>text</i> To link to an image, you need.. <img src="http://{url of image}" border="0" alt="" /> If you get stuck, tell me exactly what you want to do/write, and I'll try to sort it out. Michelle
I've also added a new field to the profiles on here, so members can add their LT names. At the moment, it shows up under your username (along with Location etc), but if people would rather it not be there, let me know, and I can change it. (I'll go with the majority on that one.)
