Kylie Posted March 13, 2011 Posted March 13, 2011 I watched Little Women (the version with Winona Ryder).
Peacefield Posted March 13, 2011 Posted March 13, 2011 I watched Little Women (the version with Winona Ryder). I watched that on Friday, Kylie! Last night I watched Eclipse, with commentary .
Univerze Posted March 13, 2011 Posted March 13, 2011 Inception.. was good, though less stunning than I'd hoped..
lopeanha Posted March 14, 2011 Posted March 14, 2011 Inkheart. Such a bad movie! I liked the book though.
Tai_Mai_Shu Posted March 14, 2011 Posted March 14, 2011 Battle Los Angeles The film is a mixture of Black Hawk Down, District 9 and Independence Day. I really enjoy the action though at times it was like watching Cloverfield because the camera was moving too fast for you to see anything. You won't get much acting or plot but if you want action then you should enjoy it. 7/10
pontalba Posted March 14, 2011 Posted March 14, 2011 Lies and Illusions with Christian Slater. A great farce on that type of film, it should attain cult status. Contact with Jodie Foster. Fantabulous film. Loved it from beginning to end. She is an amazing actress, and Matthew McConaughey ain't so shabby.
kurtz Posted March 15, 2011 Posted March 15, 2011 Willard, the newer version. I thought it would be stupid but it was actually pretty entertaining. I stayed up until past 2am to watch it, so it could not have been bad.
pontalba Posted March 20, 2011 Posted March 20, 2011 We've been watching some of Kavanaugh Q.C. with John Thaw. Interesting character and Thaw was wonderful in the role.
Peacefield Posted March 20, 2011 Posted March 20, 2011 I saw Paul this afternoon. I liked it, but found myself wishing that I had laughed more . Simon and Nick were great though, and it was fun to see them in the US. A lot of the sci-fi movies and TV show references went over my head, but I'm glad I saw it.
Ben Posted March 20, 2011 Posted March 20, 2011 (edited) I saw Paul this afternoon. I liked it, but found myself wishing that I had laughed more . Can't go wrong with them two really, can we? I'm struggling to pick a good film at the moment, got a few to select from. Hall Pass, True Grit, The Fighter or A Beautiful Mind; the last of which I know I should have watched by now. Edited March 20, 2011 by Ben

Ben Posted March 20, 2011 Posted March 20, 2011 Very true, Ben! I'm nominating True Grit and the Fighter. Two best films of the year IMO. Thanks. I'm not so good with films as I am with books and music; so expect me coming to you for advice.
chesilbeach Posted March 21, 2011 Posted March 21, 2011 We watched Invictus the other night - utter tosh!
Chrissy Posted March 21, 2011 Author Posted March 21, 2011 Shrek 3. I hadn't seen it before. The baby donkey/dragons are sooooo cute ~ I want one!
Maureen Posted March 21, 2011 Posted March 21, 2011 Lol Chrissy - they will set your books on fire when they are squabbling
Tai_Mai_Shu Posted March 21, 2011 Posted March 21, 2011 The Next Three Days - I like it but too long with some un-neccesary scene that didn't move the story forward. 7.5 out of 10
Ben Posted March 21, 2011 Posted March 21, 2011 Inception. Thought it was very good One of my favourites of 2010 in all fairness.
Amesy Posted March 22, 2011 Posted March 22, 2011 Paul (Simon Peg and Nick Frost). Laughed uncontrollably throughout most of it.
Inver Posted March 26, 2011 Posted March 26, 2011 We went to see The Eagle last night. Was OK'ish, nothing to write home about. American accented Romans don't really work and Jamie Bell as a slave! Kept waiting for him to dance....
lauraloves Posted March 27, 2011 Posted March 27, 2011 Sweeney Todd. First time I've seen it and it was fantastic!
