Just about to watch some more of season five of Gilmore Girls. It feels like I've had these forever now, but because of time constraints over the past year I've never managed to get myself through all seven series'. I do, however, now have lots of time on my hands and as such I hope to rattle off the next couple of seasons as soon as I can. I can say one thing though, I never tired of watching them; that much is certain.

My So-Called Life

I can't believe they cancelled that show after one season. :(

Ooooh Jared Leto! ;)

I'm watching True Blood, season 3. I'm laughing quite a bit at this one too, which I always love!

I do not know name of this movie but I was watching it now but had to stop as it is very stupid and terrible. High school kids on schoolbus getting eaten by flying monster. Moster throws shurikens like japanese. Very awful movie.

I loved this show and I used to have most episodes taped from tv and watched them over and over again. I was so happy when it came out on DVD and could finally see all episodes.

The Apprentice is on tonight and I'm going to miss it because I'm attending a football match! Anyone know of any repeats or is it on I player for me to catch up with it?

Not now, but last night:

Fanny Hill

Memoirs of a Woman of Pleasure (or the BBC decide to dabble in a spot of soft porn . . .).

I caught part of this when it was originally on TV, and picked up the DVD in a sale a few years back, but didn't actually get around to watching it until last night.

This Andrew Davies adaptation scores high on flesh, but the sex scenes are often more comical than erotic (and I’m not entirely sure that was intended).

It does have a pretty good supporting cast though, with Alison Steadman, Samantha Bond, Edward Hardwicke and Hugo Speer all putting in pretty solid performances, but it is Rebecca Night who carries the show with her nudge-nudge, wink-wink narration.

Not exactly Shakespeare, but an enjoyable enough romp all the same.

It's on iPlayer, you just reminded me I missed it last night; off I go to watch, been looking forward to this all week in fairness.

Cheers Ben. Seen the last night's ep, glad Natasha is gone. For someone who banged on about doing a degree in hospitality, you can't fail in a task involving food. The excuse on BBC Breakfast was that she had completed her degree in 2002 and it was a long time ago, also it focused more on business apparently.

This is not a good enough excuse, doing a degree is supposed to make you more knowledgeable for life and The Apprentice is about business anyway. I noticed that she was coming up with excuses for her feuds with Susan as well, apparently they get on well away from the TV!

What did you think?

Glad to hear you're watching Gilmore Girls again, Ben. :) So this is the first time you've watched the latter seasons? I started it again recently and I'm up to season 3.

Are you watching something by that title or is it that you just don't want to share?

 It's what the programme's called! It's about the Customs and Immigration service in Australia. Perfect reality tv don't-have-to-use-my-brain-to-watch-it viewing.
