Oh dear...midweek disaster last night.....beaten 5-0, very windy and they couldn't take advantage of it in second half. 0-0 at HT then it all went wrong!!

Heck...another 3-0 defeat today....3 bottom at the moment....promoted one season down the next by the looks of it Sedge!

How did you do after a good midweek win?

Hope Glendale's fortunes change Inver!

Another good win yesterday against our mid-table rivals. Although I feared the worst when our new 'keeper on his debut got sent off after 30 minutes for handling outside the area, we went into overdrive and managed a 5-2 victory! :D

A top 6 finish may be possible this season!

Good stuff again for you Sedge. Poor goalie though...just a blip and hopefully won't make a habit of that!

Andy and his U'13's were up for revenge today against the team who were fielding an ineligible player last week. However they fought hard but beat 3-2. We will just have to wait the outcome of the report from the SYFA. The same boy was playing today, but it appears that he is now unregistered with the U'14 team and was down as a trialist today.....all very complicated so watch this space!!

Andy and Glendale won 2-1 last night....hoorah...about time too. Just told me one of his mates had to come off though with a knee injury...swelled up immediately...don't sound too good!

Ouch - looks like the club are having a rough season! Never mind, hopefully they can bounce back next season.

We're off to one of the relegation strugglers this afternoon in our bid for a top 6 place.

Glendale managed a 2-2 draw today, so at least a point. News of the injured mate, he has knee support and hobbling on crutches but hopefully nothing that needs more than that, fluid on the knee, so given time hopefully will make full recover.

Hope you gained some points today Sedge.

At least the injury came towards the end of the season, so he should have plenty time to recover. Fingers crossed for him.

We had another great win yesterday, this time 5-1 away. We're warming up nicely for the Cup Final on Easter Monday! :D

Well done the Saints....good warm up for you as you say. Be great win on Easter Sunday for you! :D

Andy and his U'13's had a massive WIN today.....12-0, you had to feel sorry for the other team:cool: Beautiful morning too, hot at 11am, more of that please. Hopefully they have managed to pull themselves out of the bottom 3 and won't be involved in any consolation cups. They played well as a team today, making his team choice for next week a bit difficult for those who sat out this week.

Midweek win for Andy and Glendale last night Sedge......4-0 and my boy scored...he nutmegged the goalie :D Moves them to 5th bottom at the moment, better reading than 3rd. We might just scrape missing relegation!

Going in the right direction Inver - I'm sure it'll be the great escape!

We travel to our deadly local rivals tomorrow for our first derby game in 4 years and we're fielding 3 first team players and a mixture of reserves and veterans! That's what you call confidence! :D

:giggle2: Hope you have the camera with you Sedge...will the press be there?

News about Andy's injured team mate. Had a scan on his knee today, doc said part of the knee had popped out and back in again! May be a wee bit of cartlidge damage, but has to get is scanned again in two weeks, but is hoping it won't be anything too serious.

We got on the wrong end of a 4-0 defeat, but the lads who played don't usually get a game, so they loved it!

Our usual 1st team watched the game from just in fron of the clubhouse, so as long as they didn't get injured lifting too many heavy pints, we're looking good for Monday! :D

:D Ah well you cannae win them all Sedge and as long as they are ready for the 'big one' on Monday.

Andy and the boys did good today and managed a 3-2 victory in their quarter final so through to their first semi in their first year in 1st Division. Hope they can pull it out the bag on the day to get to a final.

Another good day for Andy and the U13's Sedge. Playing a team just above them, hadn't played them before and they will be playing them again on Thursday. They had a fantastic game today, all played as a team and won 4-2 and will probably finish 4th. One game to go on Thursday, but unfortunately their goalie took an knock and has a fracture to his wrist, he had to come off poor wee sole, was a bit shaken and white. His dad took him for an x-ray and sure enough was fractured, so in plaster and will miss the last game of the season. The wee guy hasn't missed a training session or a game all season. Think Andy has him in mind for player of the year or most improved. One of the team stepped in and did goalie though, as he actually was picked for Aberdeen school select of his year, so he managed OK and has said he will fill in on Thursday....phew.

Good luck for tomorrow Sedge. :yahoo:

This is the time of the season when injuries really start to bite, but fortunately we're all fit and raring to go for 4:30. We'll be in Hayle, so if you listen very carefully you should be able to hear the roar as we lift the Cup at 6:30! :D

Plenty of noise from the Austell Army saw us take a 2-0 lead after 10 minutes! We held onto that scoreline until the 80th minute when Bodmin scored twice in quick succession. They finished off with the winner on 85 minutes after which we had 3 penalty appeals turned down!

Their winning goal was clearly offside, but we shouldn't have put ourselves in a position where they could score the winner - we got a bit complacent and paid the price!

Our star player went off with a broken nose in the 2nd half and we weren't quite the same after that. Still, as the team went to collect their losers medals, the ground shook with the wave of sound from the Lilywhites' fans - we'll be back next year! :D

Back to league action tomorrow and we're still chasing 6th place. Overall it's been a fantastic season!
