Finally posted my review of Lost Symbol, now to decide what to read next... I'm tempted to do the 3rd Sookie book, or the 3rd Kelley Armstrong, but I can't decide!

Go for the 3rd Sookie book, it's one of the best in the series IMO. :kissing:

I think if I read any slower, I will stop :kissing:

Slowly but surely getting into Dracula: the Un-dead by Dacre Stoker and Ian Holt.

Carlos Ruiz Zafon - The Angel's Game

Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie - Half Of A Yellow Sun

Eva Ibbotson - The Dragonfly Pool

and I'm still reading Bareback, it's pretty good, but just not been in the mood for reading in the last few days. Hoping to get it finished by tomorrow night though.

Either one is good, but if you're into witches I would go with Dime Store Magic ;)

Oh no! Is it your mojo, or is it the book do you think? Persevere! .. please don't say the book ... please don't say the book :D

No reading done for me today, in my case, I think it's the book :)

I think I might do that, Charm! I also remembered that I wanted to finally start Interview with a Vampire but I'm in the mood for something fluffier. Ohhh and who's the dude I'm supposed to be looking out for in Dime Store Magic?

I'm sorry your book is slowing you down :friends0:.

Finished "Nobody's Boy" by Hector Malot, loved it so much! I'll start "Lost Dogs and Lonely Hearts" by Lucy Dillon after I study for a bit.

Thanks, I'll give the book another 100 pages and if it hasn't grabbed me, it's going back on the shelf :D

Not sure if you may mean Eric in the Sookie series? He really comes to the fore in the 4th Sookie book though. However I do think you'll like Lucas in Dime Store Magic :)

Read the first of the Missing series by Meg Cabot today (written under the name Jenny Carroll); it's called When Lightening Strikes and was another page turner from the YA arena that she writes so well for.

I got a lovely miniature illustrated hardback edition of Pride & Prejudice, the third Frankenstein novel by Dean Koontz for mum and Once Upon A Time In The North by Phillip Pullman for my brother.

Have been reading The Fourth Bear by Jasper Fforde, enjoying it so far, more than the first in the series I think.

I like the sound of that!

I'm about 400 pages into The Historian and I'm loving it.

I bought Twiglight and New Moon today

Ooooh have fun with them. I read them because of all the reviews both good and bad, and I ended up really liking them!

Enjoy!

I gave up on The Historian not because of the book but I needed a light read to regain my mojo, I will read it in a few books time.

I am about 100 pages into The Big Over easy and I am loving, what a fantastic book.

I'm about to begin chapter 4 of The Shining and the story is really picking up. I'm addicted! I do have to say that I am officially liking the book more than the movie at this point.

I adore Kubrick's interpretation and the novel as different takes on the one tale. The novel certainly picks up as you go along Cali, fantastic story :D

Uh-oh, Rawr! Sounds like Cali might be on my team when it comes to Shining! :)

Mexicola, glad you're liking the Historian. I loved that one, and am anticipating Kostova's new book coming out in January! It's called 'The Swan Thieves.'

Yay for liking Big Over Easy, CW! Excellent book :D.
