Rawr Posted September 27, 2009 Posted September 27, 2009 Thanks guys I love the one with the mountain in particular Echo, mountains make beautiful imagery i feel. Quote
Echo Posted September 28, 2009 Posted September 28, 2009 Thanks, Rawr! It's actually Mount Rainier, which is an amazing mountain, and you can see it from practically anywhere in the Puget Sound area..it's very huge. Quote
Rawr Posted September 28, 2009 Posted September 28, 2009 Oh i have researched Mount Ranier a little before, i thought it looked very majestic, you are very lucky to live near such beauty Quote
Nollaig Posted October 7, 2009 Posted October 7, 2009 Tom that picture is one of the best I've seen by you, it's fabulous. Quote
Rawr Posted October 7, 2009 Posted October 7, 2009 Thanks I like the way the colour brings out a certain atmosphere within it, at the time i took it, i was looking for potential shelter to get out of the rather abrupt rainstorm which ensued and then i just thought maybe that crumbling farmhouse will make a good pic! I didn't think much of it at the time, but sometimes you find something unexpected, which is always the highlight of doing art i feel Quote
Weave Posted October 8, 2009 Posted October 8, 2009 My husband took this today, its the fountain outside of the People's Palace in Glasgow and the photo I took of the People's Palace ~ Quote
Chrissy Posted November 7, 2009 Posted November 7, 2009 Bosham, last Monday afternoon: WOW! Double wow! That is a great photograph Raven, just lovely! Quote
Rawr Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 I took a picture of some ducks in the summer on a wander down the canal in the early morning. I had to bribe them with pieces of crackers before they got into a relatively interesting arrangement I just worked on the colours and shading a little to try and make it a bit more lively. Stephanie2008 Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 That's a great picture of the ducks I like what you've done with it. Quote
paperplane Posted December 5, 2009 Posted December 5, 2009 I found a 25 year old manual SLR in a second hand shop the other day, I took a few photos to see if it still worked properly so here's a few I got developed today. I'm quite happy with them! Quote
Rawr Posted December 5, 2009 Posted December 5, 2009 They are great pics, really good quality I love the one with the sunlight filtering through Quote
Chrissy Posted December 5, 2009 Posted December 5, 2009 Paperplane, they are great! We've got some bl**dy good photographers on this forum. Quote
AbielleRose Posted December 5, 2009 Posted December 5, 2009 The first one is of my dog Kenzie. I've always loved this particular picture because it is one of the handfull that have turned out of her. Photographing a black dog is hard! The second is a beautiful sunset taken from my deck in the old apartment building I lived in last year. I use it as my desktop background a lot because I love the definition of the leaves and how the colors of the sunset seem to be swirling. Quote
Chrissy Posted December 5, 2009 Posted December 5, 2009 Those are both fabulous shots CaliLili. Kenzie's expression is that calm with a hint of melancholy that dog's do so well, and the second shot is pretty wow too! Quote
paperplane Posted December 6, 2009 Posted December 6, 2009 Thanks Rawr and Chrissy! I love your second shot CaliLily! Quote
AbielleRose Posted December 6, 2009 Posted December 6, 2009 Thank you paperplane. My favorite of yours was the 2nd from the bottom. Quote
Ausonius Posted December 6, 2009 Posted December 6, 2009 These are Nepalese musicians celebrating the birthday (July 7) this year outside the palace of King Gyanendra. One of the happiest "sounding" pictures ever! Quote
Echo Posted December 6, 2009 Posted December 6, 2009 Here are some of my latest. I took some of them a long time ago, but didn't get around to editing them until the last month or so. Quote
