lexiepiper Posted August 22, 2009 Posted August 22, 2009 I agree, Hoyt's momma was really mean to Jessica and I was glad he stood up to her and defended Jessica, they are an adorable couple! Quote
Stephanie2008 Posted August 23, 2009 Posted August 23, 2009 I decided to change my avatar (of course sticking with Eric) which was from the scene after Sookie has been poisoned, when she's lying on the bed and Eric is staring at her back. I love the expression on his face Quote
Charm Posted August 24, 2009 Posted August 24, 2009 He looks like his mouth is watering and is about to drool! .. a bit like myself as I look at all the Eric avs actually! Quote

Yeah, me too I just love that look on his face In fact I love that episode "Maybe I'll grow on you", "I'd rather have cancer" Quote
Weave Posted August 24, 2009 Posted August 24, 2009 I saw that scene on you tube, a great scene Quote
Nicola Posted August 24, 2009 Posted August 24, 2009 Ooooh ooooh ooooh! I've just watched Season 2 Episode 10 thanks to Stephanie's advice of getting onto you tube early I love Jason.....if Eric suddenly disappears, Jason will be next in line I'm thinking! Has anyone else watched it yet? I think Eric was all about the quality not quantity this week. We didn't see much but what we did see was fabulous Quote

A lot condensed into less time Quote
Nicola Posted August 24, 2009 Posted August 24, 2009 It did seem condensed didn't it! And those eyes terrify me....not good Now that Bill has left Bon Temps I'm hoping that Sookie needs to investigate further with the help of Eric and his pink leggings! Quote

I wish - I would have loved to have scene that. But I can remember reading an interview with Alan Ball and he said they didn't do that. Such a shame, I think that's a look Alexander Skarsgard could pull off Quote

I suppose it would be difficult to add it to the plot now as they've not killed Lafayette and Sookie knows all about the Maenad (sp?) Quote
Weave Posted August 24, 2009 Posted August 24, 2009 I added the season one box set to my wishlist on amazon so here's hoping hubby takes the hint Quote
Nicola Posted August 24, 2009 Posted August 24, 2009 I added the season one box set to my wishlist on amazon so here's hoping hubby takes the hint I think it's just crazy that we can send a man to the moon yet the UK is a whole YEAR behind the U.S in showing True Blood. (OK so maybe True Blood isn't as important as space discovery....but still! There's a point in here somewhere, I'm sure of it! ) Quote

And it's only shown on Sky Quote

And it's only shown on Sky I know.....it's just not right! I think I'll write a letter to NASA to tell them to hold up on their research as not everyone is as interested in exploring the outer reaches of space as they are. The money they save can be spent on improving the time difference between showings of popular TV shows between the USA and other countries. Primarily the UK (and Finland for Frankie as I know she's keen to watch it) I think that'll go down well Quote

Never mind about life on Mars, as long as England (especially the North East) gets True Blood on time. Quote
Nici Posted August 25, 2009 Posted August 25, 2009 Not sure where to put this, Twilight or True Blood so I put it here. Linkie Quote

chesilbeach Posted August 25, 2009 Posted August 25, 2009 D'ya know, I'm still not sure about True Blood. I love the books, but I 'm just not bothered about the TV series. Quote
Kell Posted August 25, 2009 Posted August 25, 2009 Watched season 2 ep10 this morning. The sight of Eric crying tears of blood was way hotter than it had any right to be! Quote
Stephanie2008 Posted August 25, 2009 Posted August 25, 2009 Watched season 2 ep10 this morning. The sight of Eric crying tears of blood was way hotter than it had any right to be! Yeah that's true. I watched the episode where Sookie's gran died this morning. It was so sad when Sookie was sitting eating the pie I liked her gran, she was really sweet and exactly how I imagined her in the books Quote
Charm Posted August 25, 2009 Posted August 25, 2009 Thanks for the link Nici! D'ya know, I'm still not sure about True Blood. I love the books, but I 'm just not bothered about the TV series. Eh? .. Watched season 2 ep10 this morning. The sight of Eric crying tears of blood was way hotter than it had any right to be! I'm saving it for Sat night Quote
chesilbeach Posted August 25, 2009 Posted August 25, 2009 Eh? .. I know, I know!!! I don't know if it's because I watch very little tv drama, and even less American drama, or if it's because I've only seen the episodes on FX so far, which has had very little Eric, or because I don't like the portrayal of and writing for Sam's charater (as you know, he's one of my favourites), or maybe because I find it such slow going compared to the books. Quote
Stephanie2008 Posted August 25, 2009 Posted August 25, 2009 The FX episodes are a little boring at the moment (as you said maybe due to lack of Eric ). Last Fridays episode really seemed to drag for me, apart from the actual funeral scene and a little beforehand. I wasn't that impressed. Still looking forward to next weeks though because I know whats coming Quote
