Kell Posted June 16, 2006 Author Share Posted June 16, 2006 I think they're really aimed at perhaps 10 & over (& the range could go right up really), but if you've got a 7 or 8 year old who's a particularly avid reader, I reckon they'd be more than happy too. I think they're aimed at the same market range as Harry Potter. I certainly enjoyed them & was thinking I might get them for my niece this Xmas asshe'll be almost 9 by then. I think perhaps its the style of writing I don't like I've read other books written by him (mister monday) and I found that I didn't enjoy them either. But I have to say i think Foaly has to be my favourite character his sarcastic comments are soo funny and he reminds me of me! I've read the 5th one- Artemis Fowl and The Time Paradox and loved it so many twists and turns that kept you on the edge of your seat!
