Kylie Posted March 6, 2009 Posted March 6, 2009 I hope you have a lovely birthday dinner, Pipread. I'm heading to my folk's for a home-cooked meal. Sausages (or maybe rissoles) and mashed potato in onion gravy. My fave!
~Andrea~ Posted March 6, 2009 Posted March 6, 2009 Have a look here FishAndChips http://www.stovies.com/ mmm - looks yummy
Chrissy Posted March 6, 2009 Posted March 6, 2009 We are contemplating a takeaway (my fingers are crossed for an Indian!)
Charm Posted March 6, 2009 Posted March 6, 2009 Homemade chicken and mushroom Risotto with garlic and herb pitta. The whole lot then drizzled with sweet chilli sauce. Delish
Kell Posted March 6, 2009 Posted March 6, 2009 Wholewheat pasta with chicken in a spinach and riccotta sauce - yummy!
Lucybird Posted March 6, 2009 Posted March 6, 2009 Fish and chips. I wanted tuna hotpot but was outvoted, I'm happy enough with fish and chips though

Nici Posted March 7, 2009 Author Posted March 7, 2009 Chicken in breadcrumbs, waffles and a fried egg tonight
Charm Posted March 7, 2009 Posted March 7, 2009 We'll be having good old spag bol tonight. One of my favourite meals
Kell Posted March 7, 2009 Posted March 7, 2009 Homemade soup for me tonight - I roasted a load of cherry tomatoes, red peppers, red onions and garlic, whizzed them in the food processor, added a little stock, some balsamic viniegar, some herbs and spices. It's simmering right now and will be heated up for dinner tonight. Delicious with hot, buttered crusty bread (got some par-baked French sticks for this). Really looking forward to it!
Ceinwenn Posted March 7, 2009 Posted March 7, 2009 I'm making a beef stew for dinner tonight & it'll be even better when I re-heat it for dinner tomorrow!
Inver Posted March 7, 2009 Posted March 7, 2009 Mince defrosted so am off to make bolognese to turn it into a lasagne with crusty garlic bread. Or in our house the lasagne is called 'garfield tea' it being Garfields favourite....lol.
Lucybird Posted March 7, 2009 Posted March 7, 2009 Don't know, but seeing as it's Saturday it'll probably be some kind of curry
Peacefield Posted March 7, 2009 Posted March 7, 2009 Having leftovers tonight from what I made last night, which is one of my all time favorite recipes. Baked chicken with veggies, orzo pasta and terrifically-melty fontina cheese. YUM! Anytime you combine white wine with chicken, garlic, butter and cheese I am there!
Lucybird Posted March 7, 2009 Posted March 7, 2009 I was right about the curry, it's going to be rogan josh yumm yumm
Ceinwenn Posted March 8, 2009 Posted March 8, 2009 We're having left over beef stew & homemade tea biscuits.
