poppy
Dex had drifted off looking for any murder detective books he might not have read, Bertrand had found a convenient bookshelf to lean on and had promptly gone to sleep and Poppy had been standing with glazed eyes and a slack jaw looking particularly gormless, but now with the promise of refreshments everyone perked up. 'Milk and sugar?' asked Septimus.

'Well that should keep you going for a while,' said Tintaglia indulgently, giving him an affectionate pat. And indeed it did.
