The issue that put me in the hospital was a Cardiac Syncope while I was taking a morning shower. I do hope that 'can have on-going discussions with my cardiologist on this item' does not mean "I will badger my cardiologist until he gives in." ! That term sounded remarkably like something my husband would say, but I know what he would mean by that. 🙂 I do understand that it will be annoying and inconvenient for you not to be able to drive, but your safety and wellness comes first. If so, at least they know about it now and can treat it. Although it must be really annoying to have your ability to drive taken away for a while . No, they noticed some issues and then did a echocardiogram and followed it up with a heart catheterization where they found blockage in a good number of my arteries. I am wearing a heart monitor for 2 weeks. I was very lucky that I didn't hit my head in the shower when I passed out. It was somewhat scary when I regained some consciousness and could not get up off the shower floor. My GD flew down from NYC and is spending 1 week and a half with us to help out. On Friday I get my second shot and i will see how painful it is as I am seeing a specialist that my ophthalmologist is having me see.. We have a strawberry farm not far away, they're nice, but not as good as the ones we used to get. They grow them outside hydroponically, I think, which may have something to do with it. I don' know what variety these strawberries are as my neighbor has been getting them for me since I am not allowed to drive "YET". Went to the eye specialist today and am glad I have her as my doctor. Good news, the injection itself did not hurt but my eye was sore afterwards and still is a little. Better news, the Macular Degeneration is now not as bad as in my first examination and she has now said that my next shot can be 8 weeks from now instead of 4.
