slywaka1 Posted July 2, 2008 Posted July 2, 2008 I'm getting left overs from Wimbledon for the next couple of weeks (or however long there is to go). A friend of mine works for a television equipment type company and each year he works Wimbledon setting up the camera stuff, so he stays at my house and brings us Wimbledon food!! Anna
Kate Posted July 2, 2008 Posted July 2, 2008 I'm getting left overs from Wimbledon for the next couple of weeks (or however long there is to go). Do they do anything nice? I'm having sausages, chips and peas tonight. Nice and original! But then it is the BF cooking
Angel Posted July 2, 2008 Posted July 2, 2008 Homegrown mixed lettuce leaves, sun-dried tomatoes and homemade tiger prawn quiche
JudyB Posted July 2, 2008 Posted July 2, 2008 Homegrown mixed lettuce leaves, Ooo there's nothing nicer! I've my own supply of rocket at the moment - so nice to know it's not been tampered with by the supermarkets.
Babe*With*Brains Posted July 4, 2008 Posted July 4, 2008 I was hoping to make a pepper salad or something but my plans changed and I ended up going over my parents house and having veg, mashed potato and veggie beef with vegetable gravy =)
Kate Posted July 4, 2008 Posted July 4, 2008 We had steak and kidney pie tonight. I much prefer just steak pie but it was nice all the same
Nici Posted July 6, 2008 Author Posted July 6, 2008 I will be teaching Robbie how to make lasagne later so that's what we will be having.
Tiger Posted July 6, 2008 Posted July 6, 2008 Crispy roast belly of pork, roast onions, carrots and potatoes.
Icecream Posted July 6, 2008 Posted July 6, 2008 Sausage, mash, onion gravy, cabbage, and green beans. Katie even ate her veg, but I bet that was because it had gravy on!
Nici Posted July 6, 2008 Author Posted July 6, 2008 Icecream, Robbie will eat anything providing it is covered in gravy!
Icecream Posted July 6, 2008 Posted July 6, 2008 Just like Katie! At one stage I put gravy in all her food just so she would eat it.
supergran71 Posted July 7, 2008 Posted July 7, 2008 Just like Katie! At one stage I put gravy in all her food just so she would eat it. At the risk of embarrassing my daughter, I used to do that too:lol: We are having grilled Scottish salmon with potatoes and veggies tonight
Esiotrot Posted July 7, 2008 Posted July 7, 2008 I am turning into a desperate housewife LOL! We had home made Lentil, Pepper and smoked sausage soup with home made bread for lunch and for dinner home made Pizza and then home made hobnobs with a cup of tea! Asides from saving a bit of money, I am actually really enjoying making everything from scratch. Kx
