I loved Scout and the idea of a Boo Radley in my neighborhood. Her newer book is actually on my TBR pile right now. I never heard of Umberto Eco, sadly. I'll have to look up The Name of the Rose. She was only in her sixties. RIP. I haven't read any of her books, but I have seen the film with my daughter. Quote
Virginia Posted March 9, 2016 Posted March 9, 2016 Pat Conroy was laid to rest yesterday. He died of pancreatic cancer. He was the consumate Southern author and just the nicest guy.
